I like a few Nickelback songs, But then again I also like a few 3 Doors Down songs too. But I mainly listen to Southern Rock. And the Foo Fighters got a couple cool songs. Dam, sounds just like my city's main radio station. LoL.. If ya wanna hear (and see) your favorite group. You-Tube has alot of old and new vids from concerts, MTV vids, etc. Type this in the search box. (.38 special/teacher teacher.) excellent video from the 80's. At one time I really didn't mind them...but the radio killed them for me. Same thing with that Hinder band. I swear that Lips of an Angel song was played more than any song in the history of music. Probably is still playing on the radio. Anyone hear that new song my Tantric called Down and Out? Pretty bad *** violin playing...can't believe I said that.

Nickelback was great back in the day, kind of grunge, garage band rock. Like "leader of men" that is a great song, one of the best ever made IMHO.

I find it funny that most people can't stand Rock bands that actually make it big or "mainstream" but they love to listen to all of the rap crap "NBS" (Refer to MHL or Jack) and pop crap with the same bassline repeating itself over and over and over again. Yeah, Nickelback has gotten a little bland over the years, but atleast not EVERY single song they make sounds EXACTLY alike.

New country SUCKS. Period. There is no new country that is worth listening to. Gimme some George Strait, Tim McGraw, Travis Tritt etc. anyday over any of the new crap.

when i get in my car..usually the first song is The Air That I Breath by All That Remains or something by avenged sevenfold. i listen to the scream that can be understood...i cant stand that stuff that just sounds like garbled ****.

I liked nickelback back in highschool....but that was the extent. it was just the group of friends that i hung around. my group at psu here listen to pretty much anything.

haha.. I know that came out sounding horrible.. if they released something new I would probably listen to it. I don't hate everything that plays on the radio..it just got old. A song comes out and it stays on the play list for over a year. Don't tell me there's not other music they couldn't play instead.

 

there are plenty of things to play instead. What most don't realize is that for every person complaining a song is played out, there are two other people calling to ask them to play it so you kind of have to find a balance.

Avenged Sevenfold- No way in hell, first cd was good ill admit, current one is typical radio bs.

Puer stang- You'd probally like Unearth alot if you like easy understood metal. I started with the lighter stuff like them. Then just kept moving up to heavier stuff.

 

Lol, they are a tad bit over rated. But damn, can never even come close to comparing them to the shity level of talent shown by nickleback. Tool is actually really talented if youd really sit down and listen. Obviously not your type of music, but doesn't mean they suck though.

I listen to death metal and heavy dark ****. I like IN Flames, CKY, children of bodom, slayer, mastodon, cradle of filth, five finger death punch, **** like that. **** that makes me want to straight **** you up.

The g/f hates it on the other hand which makes me play it even more in my car, which rules.

On the other hand i like the band HIM alot aswell as some other finish metal bands. Oh and if you want to hear some sweet ****. There is a band called Apocolyptica thats a metal orchestra type band with cellos, violins etc.. in the band. its So awesome. They have different peope sing from different bands while they play its cool as ****. They have an entire cover CD of metallica songs.
