yo does anyone know where the "eleanor" name in the eleanor mustang came from, my girlfriend and i both wanna find out, we just cant find any info!!

From the movie Gone in 60 Seconds. They had names for all the cars they needed to steal. Eleanor was the name given to the Mustang.

kool, so then, it wasnt named after shelbys wife or anything right? haha, my girlfriends idea, haha thanks

Yup, it came from "Gone in 60 Seconds." Awesome movie and hot car.

I saw a Shelby one of the times I went to Laguna Seca and took pictures with my camera. Here's one of them:

Ive seen "Gone In Sixty Seconds" a hundred times but now I'm going to have to watch it again lol.

wow, if there was another car as beautiful as that, it would be Eleanor's daughter, lol what do you guys think her name would be? hmm, maybe Herbie?? haha

That is a Ronaele Mustang. Which, if you didn't know, is Eleanor backwards. Pretty ingenious naming on their part if you ask me.
