I just wish...
I love the apperance of my 6'er but i just wish it was......... a GT. i would love the same color and apperance of mine but with a v8 in her. sorry just wanting to rant. lol . but its my first car anyway, got it for 9G 5 months ago and already put 4G of mods in it. if i knew what i know now about mustangs back then i would have gotten a GT, Cobra, or a mach 1.

Hold on. You spent 9,000 dollars for a 2001 V6?!?!?!?!?!?!
If you weren't a sucker you wouldn't of paid 9,000 dollars for a 2001 V6 either.

Thats what I was thinking. For $1,400 less than what you have spent on your v6 (9K+4K in mods), you coulda bought my GT. Seriously, sell the v6 and buy the GT now. I had a v6 for almost 4 years, modded it out, and regret it all now that I have a GT.

and s.o.b after i bought my 6'er i went drove past a dealer place in another city and i pulled in and they had like 5GT's lowest one was 10G and coulda prolly brought it down a few. and also if you bought a car from there at that time you could have got a 1G giftcard to wal-mart or lowe's.

heres whats gunna happen
strip it down to stock cause the dealer wont give u **** for after market altho they will jack their price up cause of all the mods
trade it in for kelly blue book value and get GT
there is gunna be a deficit that is added onto your loan
but you will then have a GT

Are you serious? Just because you owe money on something does not mean you can't sell. If that were the case, no one would ever sell a car....or a house.
It works like this......you sell it. Then, take the money and pay-off the bank. If you don't get enough for it, then you have to send more money to the bank. The dealer will take care of the entire transaction.
The new owner can't take title until the lean is cleared and you will be required to make this happen up front.
BTW, cancel the warranty. The second you added a mod to the car, the warranty is no longer worth the paper it is printed on. Most warranties can be cancelled and you can get a prorated amount of money back, which should be most of your money. Don't believe me? Call the warranty company and ask them a "what if" question.....like, what if I modded the car? Don't tell them.....because they will note it and cancel on the spot most likely.
Above all, stop dumping money in that car especially if you think you might sell.
After-market warranty companies don't have to play by the same rules that the new car warranties do.

wow you spent 9 on it...so that means you are regreting it after only 1 grand in payments? gotta admit thats a lil funny....but my advice is dont mod it at all...if you are that hot for a gt then you know you will be getting one eventually, so why waste money modding a car you arent gonna keep? when you finally sell it you should know that mods only lower its value so modding it with the intent to sell it as quick as you can makes no sense....may as well throw the money away...just be content with your six for now...its a good car...its still a mustang

yeah, that's straight ridiculous. considering I spent 8,000 on my GT when I had it and they were worth more back then because the new body style hadn't hit yet. YOU GOT RIPPED!!! big time...

And another thing, you don't need to make multiple threads on what should you do to the car, should you get a GT, etc. Just create one thread and thats it. Just like I said before, stop putting so much money into your V6 if you plan on getting a GT. You can transfer over all the mods especially a GT bumper to a GT, just pointless.
