!@#$% Busy Summer!
Well guys...I ain't gonna make it to Joliet. This summer is just too busy for me right now. Graduation parties, baby showers (not for me, lol), bridal showers, buying a house, getting married, family reunions, my fiance's brother is getting a lung transplant, and I'm working too dang much to top it all off. I'll make it to Columbus, but that may be the only NMRA event I make it to.
Just too damn busy. I've only even raced once this year with my all new suspension setup. I don't have time to wash the car, let alone travel to Illinois to race. Hopefully things will calm down after I get married and come back from my honeymoon.
(Rant off)

I knew who you meant, dummy :thebirdma I was just bein a smartass, that's all.
I'll make Columbus, but Joliet is the weekend before I get married and after I move into my house...so needless to say it's a little busy. It sucks, since I was planning all year to make it, but the ol' lady comes first.
Next year should be a little more calm...hopefully I can make about 5 races.

Suspension is hooking well, no tire spin at all. I think im set with the suspension for a while. Now I can move back into the power mods and a torque convertor, and since I already have every bolt on there is, minus LT's, it's gonna start being some serious $$$.
Dean, did you know that I knew that you knew i knew?

The car's at 3305 with me in it and a half tank of gas. Trunk gutted, passenger and rear seat removed, and no sway bar. I didn't pace my gas usage properly on the way to Norwalk.
I have the cam's/ intake ready to go...but I'm holding off. I wan't to see how fast I can go without ever having the valve covers or intake off. I can still do an A/C delete, LT's, torque converter, electic water pump, al driveshaft, and a slightly more agressive tune. As well as lightening the car some more.
My goal is a 13.5 or better with a COMPLETELY stock longblock, and still be streetable...so A/C delete will be one of the last things I do. With the right air, I should be able to hit 13.8 as the car sits. (note, that means negative DA, lol)

Looking forward to seeing you in Columbus. Bring the wife to be. I will have my girl there and I am pretty Sure that Jason is taking his wife. We can all go out.
My sister lives in Grandview, so we will be staying there.

By columbus, she'll be the "Ol' Lady"...August 6th is the date.
I haven't decided if we're getting a hotel or not...it's about an hour and a half from where I live. More than likely we will, or we'll stay at the track.
