I cant believe i am still alive
so this weekend i was supposed to go to new york and snowboard and party with 8 of my friend a house that one of them owned. but unfortunately that's not going to happen
it had been snowing all night and there was about 4 inches of snow and slush on the ground. about 2 hours into the drive from Reading, PA to State College (picking up someone), we were on the highway and were taking a slight curve in the road. the highway was clear of snow and it was just drizzling at this point. but out of no where a patch of snow just happened to be in our lane. next thing i knew we were in a 60mph (rate of traffic) 360 degreespin. i cant remember if we did 2 or not, but i know for sure we did 1. it was the most ******* scariest thing of my life. we some how ended up on the shoulder of the road (still completely on pavement) facing the correct way of traffic. we sat there for a good 5-7 seconds and all i hear is my friend say OH CHIT!! we were hit by another car on the drivers side door (i guess we were kinda crooked)
i am still amazed it ended as good as it did...we could have spun into on coming traffic, hit a 5x5 foot cement base for a highway sign (the ones that go across the whole highway), landed in the middle of either side and t-boned....all of which could have ended with our lives.
i will try to get pics of my buddies car..but i dont know if he went home yet to have his parents look at it.
sorry its so long...i just hadda vent............i dont think that im going to be driving anywhere for a couple of days.
