Default aston shells

anyone use or heard of this??

i was told its a nice and reliable way to get rid of explorer and run a new skin on you computer, but wanted some input, good or bad??

okay, so i went ahead and installed it, and wow.. its actually really nice.. i didn't notice any performance gains, but certainly no draw backs to it... and then it does look alot better... if anyone is interested i can update on how long it takes me to get use to it,, or if i actually do see some performance gains from it...

its a program called astonshell found here http://www.astonshell.com


basicly what it does is takes off explorer and uses its only program that works just like explorer but does not take as much memory so in theory your computer should run faster and more stable...

for those who read and don't know what explorer is here is a breif discription.
explorer is the program window uses to search through your computer for files. so basicly it the main thing on your computer if you think of it in terms of things working right...
