i made up with my girl for my valentines day race...promised not to do it again...then as i was sitting at a light this daytona charger pulls up....he revs at me...guess he was chasin me for awhile the way he pulled up so quick...girlfriend gives me the thousand yard stare...screw it, i'm not gonna race this guy....tick tock tick tock...lights taking forever....calm..cool....and then it happened...billy squier's "the stroke" comes on the radio....my hand tightens on the wheel...the guy revs again....i look out the other window...damn i love this song....**** it................................light changes....floor it......



sigh.....back on the couch

Yeah my car's so slow when I'm flooring it it's not even noticeable so it's all good.

The auto transmission blows, 2nd gear would last from 30mph-70 with OD off.

 

haha, seriously, the exhaust just makes more noise, still not going anywhere Only time my car has felt faster than it is, is when I autox it. There HP doesn't matter nearly as much as driver ability and tires/suspension.

I'm a lucky guy, my girlfriend knows that she can't do anything to prevent me from racing. However, I coose not to race with her in the car. I would like to take her on the autocross course one time though.

Same here bro. I slammed 2nd gear and lit up the tires once with my wife in the car. She was about to have a cow.. Geez, I told her, I could've slammed 3rd gear after that but I didn't.

 

Oh, and as far as jumping on the chargers around here... Not a good idea.

That's the new HP car and most are unmarked.. If I see a Charger, red flags go up no matter who's driving it.
