ummm....
OK have I gone retarded? Aren't most exhaust tubing 2.5" for example: MAC, Magnaflow, SLP, Pypes.. not 2.25 lol sorry just making sure I'm not looking stupid on another forum but you don't need to be boosted for 2.5 its 3" right? Someone else is saying 2.25 is correct and 2.5 is boosted but that doesn't make sense.

2.5 inch is the perfect size for either N/A or boosted applications....mac is the only brand that makes a 3" catback for our cars. there is no need for a 3" exhaust unless your turbo'd and making lots of boost...

Mine is 2.5'' but I know alot of guys over on 3.8 run 2.25. They say it helps keep your torque down low rather then shifting it up in your power-band as much as 2.5'' does. 3'' is definitely overkill unless running some serious boost.

alright yea so at least I'm not going crazy haha because I knew mine are 2.5 also. The guy posting must have been from 3.8 forums because when I said 2.5 was ideal (in an exhaust recommendation thread) he kept saying how 2.5 is only for boost so i just gave up and was like alright i guess ive gone retarded haha and listed all the companies that sell there catbacks in 2.5 piping
