I know in california you get in way more trouble as it's a 2 point violation.

the state trooper said he could of took me to jail but he said he wasnt going to do that. then gave me the ticket and left. after a lecture..(about slowing it down or next time i could be possibly hurt or killed and etc.)

damn that does suck, that makes my 83 in a 65 seems like nothing, After my first ticket ive slowed down alot and playing it alot more safe. Red sports cars are easy targets.

he should have taken your car away since you didn't seem to learn after the
first time. Why earth would you go 100 in a 45mph zone? The freeway I can understand, but in a 45? Why don't you go for a trifecta by going 75 through a school zone.
Sorry if I'm being harsh, but damn man!

the OP that reminds me of my ticket when i was 18. i got pulled over doing 106 in a 65 (for the cali guys i was on highway 4 the downhill part just before hercules). the dude was clearly pissed because i parked so close to the guard rail he had to hop over into the dirt, LOL. he didnt lock my speed but his word against mine in court, the bastard showed up too. i saw him later that day when i took his order at IN-N-OUT burger . i got 2 points and no traffic school waiver judge gave me a spill about elderly driving that road. i was pissed and said if they are so old and cant see a speeding car they shouldn't be driving.
100 in a 45 your fawked man...thats just dumb and you are lucky you didnt go to jail. certain states will take your license if you get to many points in one year..

Hmm, I really cant be too harsh, because Ive been right there with you, but not TWICE man. Thats just silly. I learned my lesson the first time, and I hope you have this time. There is NO reason, especially in a V6 mustang, to be messing around with a GT on the backroads at 100 mph. None whatsoever.
Have you been to court for the first ticket yet? I hate to say it man, but wreckless is a 6 point offense. Depends on the state, but in SC 25+ is wreckless, so if its the same way, you have 2 wreckless driving tickets on your hands. Also, the way SC law reads, once you are charged with wreckless, if you get caught speeding wrecklessly again in the next year or two, they take your license. Id say get a lawyer, no doubt about it. Get ready to pay some fines, sell your car, and pay insane insurance for the next few years.

god...some people just need to learn...in my 3 years of driving i have had 1 speeding ticket and that was in my v6 like a couple months after i started driving...40 in a 20 and a school zone...i try to stay below the radar...i suggest if they dont tow ur car away which is what they should do if going over twice the limit, stay within 10mph of the limit...thanks
its worthless to speed like that on the streets...just plain stupid...i mean yea i occasionally rip on my car but only go to like 50-60 in a 45...keep the upper speeds to a track brother

if he wrote the ticket wrong theres a good chance it can get thrown out actually.

Have fun man. That ticket is gonna be nice and high. I think the last ticket I got was about $300 and that was for doing about 20 over the limit on the freeway. Going double or more should be nice and high.

Very first ticket evar, I was going 125 in a 25 and passed 3 bike cops sitting at a corner. Got written for 41 in a 25 so I'd have to pay the increased fine for more than 15 over but wouldn't have to go to jail. I was in the police academy at the time so the officers were a little more understanding than they'd have been with a civilian but they still wrote me as big as they could without ending my academy days. Ended up with a $265 fine... in 1992 that was a lot of money. Never ended up finishing the academy but that was a choice to change career paths.

had my license for 4 days. Only had a paper copy too... no picture.
to add to the idiocy of the act, I did it in a section of town inhabited only by those 65 and up, in broad daylight, while not wearing a seatbelt, in a borrowed car, after having spent the previous week doing burnouts in every intersection along that route.
