Snow Places
When it comes winter time, those people that live in snowy places, what do you do? do you have a set of winter tires waiting? do you have an alternative vehicle to drive? or do you just say screw it and drive your stang...street tires and all?

During the winter and usually every I have to work I drive this beast.... Dont laugh too hard, it was given to me by my grandfather. He was gonna junk it because both halfshafts were busted, he said if I could fix it I could have it. Been my daily driver for over two years now !!
It does suck driving a hoopty ride like that everyday, but it does keep this looking nice !!

Stangs are not too bad in colorado, there were only 3-4 days this winter where i wouldnt take my car out. its been pretty mild here latly though.
I have a budddy who rents my basement who has a Dodge Hemi, he also works the same place i do, makes winter easier.
Snow is not that big of a problem, it is ICE that will really cause you problems.
My reccommendation is to buy some good winter tires and some sandbags to throw in the trunk, you should get along fine, just know yer limits. Make sure you keep a sleeping bag in the trunk in case you get stranded, AAA, and some chains in case you find yerself in a place where snow tires arent enough.
you can do fine in a stang here, just gotta take precautions
go out with a buddy sometime when it is snowing to chaple hills or the citidel, great places during snow to race around and get into slides. Cops are usually pretty forgiving about that, they way they see it yer learning to drive in snow, and hopefully one less person to pull out of a totaled car.
