Which is better to get? Painted stripes or Decals? I want to get my car painted with stripes like the Super Snake Stang but red stripes... So is it better to get it paint or decals?

 

paint.....the hood and rocker decals on my mach held up ok, but a lot of people would get them painted when it was time to replace them from being faded.

 

Do you have pics of r decals?

im about to take my rocker decals off, and get my hood painted

 

i'd do decals first for 30 days to make sure you like em'....decals on the hood are only like $30, and can be undone easily.

paint is more expensive to undo..

just my 2 cents.

 

if i ware you i would try and find some pics and see if you like it. i would get paint becouse its easy to keep clean and decals fade.

 

If you use 3M decals you will get more durability. IMHO.. Plus you can be proud if you did it yourself. Might not win any trophies but my side stripes still shine and no peeling 2 years later..

My hood decal was a matte type and it still looks good although it didn't fit quite right. No body notices it too much.. I'm happy cause it looks good to me and most people who look at it..
