I'll be making my purchase on a new 08 GT/CS very soon.

I really want black, but i can't find any pictures of a black 08 GT/CS. I need some help, maybe i suck at googling or something.

I'm thinking black with the silver stripe, or black with a black stripe (?). haha.


I got big plans for this 08. Help a memba out!

Well yeah i've seen a million of them. I'm just trying to find a picture of an 07 or 08 Black GT/CS.

I was, but i figured the high interest rate would kill me. I drive my stang every day so I thought a new GT would be more practical than an 03-04 Cobra, somewhat.

I love the terminators, but it would take so long to find a good one, and I've never had a new car before, so why not.

 

i see how much are you going to see your GT for?

and how many miles does it have on it?

 

My GT has about 60k on it, and its got a full warranty until about 143k. Ha.

I don't know how much i'll get for it.

 

are you going to trade it or sell it your self?

if you trade i think you will get like 6-9k for it, and then the dealer will try and sell it for 15k. if i ware you i would try and sell it my self. if you get more then 9k on the trade then trade it.

 

I'm probably going to trade it in.

 

I'd gladly take it off your hands if I could afford to do such a thing..where do you live anyways?

Definitely. I'm going to get that exact model, color, wheels, as in that picture. I'm just going to get the 3.55 gear option and the black/dove interior.

I'm not going to get the hood scoop, as i'm throwing a shaker on it as soon as possible. Jack would love to hear that.

I got plans for this ****! I'm excited, im just waiting for winter to pass and/or catch some holiday/new year deals. Maybe 0% financing, or something like that.

Guys, i'm getting so excited for this damn thing. I keep looking up all the different aftermarket **** and im about to cream my pants. Sure, im 19 years old and this is going to burn a hole in my pocket but damn, you only live once!

steeda97 have you driven a 2005+ GT or a GT/CS? If so what are your impressions? I had the pleasure of having an 06 GT in my garage next to my mach back before I sold it, and the GT was a fun car to drive. It was a helluv a lot smoother than my mach....power wasn't the same, but it road much smoother.

Also, have you considered waiting until 09 when a new body style comes out?

I haven't yet driven a 05+. I've heard that its the greatest platform ever. And everyone seems to love them, so i probably won't feel any different hopefully.

I don't think i could wait until 2009. I can barely wait a few months. But what is the body style supposed to look like?

Yeah I don't know. The 05+ are to much of a box for me IMO. I hope the redesign is a major one.

Yea but concepts are rarely what the car ends up looking like. The picture I posted I just meant as in how the front will probably look. If thats what 2009 is suppose to look like I wouldn't even call that a redesign its the same car just take out the quarter panel window. Then again I think that the change from 04 to 05 was such a severe change that it will effect how people see some of the redesigns.

 

Well, if the new Mustang is that awesome as people are saying it will be, i'll just trade in the 08 for the 09. :-)
