Default I Am Legend

This movie looks badass.

Will Smith, guns, vampires, GT500.

Instant formula for a good movie.

Leave it to Will Smith to be in a crazy *** looking movie. Looks like a nail biter to me... Looks like they killed his dog in the trailer. Rut Roe... He gonna lay some smack down now...

I agree. Will Smith is one of best actors out there. That's why this will be a record breaker for 07. It's actually a remake of "The Omega Man". Charleton Heston was the star of this 1971 flick. I bet Will can upstage him..

So i just watched this movie, and man, i tell ya what, i can see sappy movies and not get phased. I can see people die slowly in movies all dramatic like and not be concerned one bit.

However, man, seeing will smith have to put his dog down after it got infected really hit a chord with me. I just cant stand watching that sort of stuff it really bugs me. Hell, i try not to shoot dogs in video games. And it aint all animals either, just dogs. I guess it just sucks seeing an animal that would lay its life down without thinking twice to protect you have to give that sacrifice.

There are veyr few people who ever display that kind of unconditional love and undying loyalty. I actually had to stop the movie and give my dog a hug.

lol.

Other than that, great movie except for the end which was lame.

Thanks Jack, you just spoiled it for me!

A friend of mine is letting me borrow that movie in a few days. I thought it looked great, not to mention the name of the movie is also the title of my favorite White Zombie song. (Which I'm sure has nothing to do with it.) I'm actually pretty excited about being able to finally see it.

I don't give a damn how teary-eyed I may get. I'm not going to hug either one of my dogs. They're ******** and they always try to chew my hair.

We kill a lot of things, but normally as a society one of the things we generally dont kill are dogs with exception of euthanizing them and that is normally done out of mecry by qualified vets, nor by your general populace...

im not sure where you were going with that?

I'm the same way when it comes to dogs. I love all animals, i'm escpecially fond of birds, having owned a few of different species. I hate to see any animal suffering, or just plain dead on the side of the road. You wonder, who's pet it may have been, But when I see a dog on the road, I always feel saddened. Dogs have a different way of being yours. If you try to be their pack leader, they will do anything you command them to. (yes I watch Ceasar Milan). And it's true that you can make any dog follow your commands because that's what truly makes him happy, to please you..

Ok here's my story of what haunts me to this day. I was 17 and my freind and I were just BSing in the front yard. My Dog jumped our fence and bolted in the road only to get creamed by a car. She was really busted up bad. Back was broke, bones sticking out. She wasn't yelping, just laying there paralyzed. I got my dads .38 and wanted to put her down before she started to feel the pain. Maybe I could have got her to the vet, but it would have been to no avail, IMHO. I couldn't shoot her so I gave the gun to my friend. He was shaking too bad but shot her anyway. She just look up at us eye's wide open. My friend said I can't do that again, so I did. And the poor girl finally closed her eye's.. Dammit I hated to do it. And I still cringe at the thought. Now excuse me while I go cry again about it again, 30 + years later..

I'm not the kind to like dogs, but I do completely understand the whole pet thing. I've had to shoot 2 of mine, and it was pretty hard.
