Do you make a list for people and send it to them so you get things you want, or just hope you get what you want and wait it out?

I always make a list and hope i get some of the items that are on there. IM dying to get some new detailing products for xmas as the mustang is nasty and im almost out of poorboys detailing products

 

hell no...i just tell em what I like, and thats about it. usually end up getting the same stuff every year, but i just take it back to the store and get a refund, and go buy what i want...hehe

 

i do!!!!! but most of the time i just get the money to get the parts. lol

 

must be nice, my family is composed of a buncha cheap skates.

im lucky if i get a $50 present max...lol.

 

bulk of my friends are girls and girls always think that sex is a gift...friggin cheapos

 

I am now asked to make a list, being that my g/f has no idea of what item to get me the car...and just hope she dont stray from it and go and get something else instead like clothes

 

i most years i make a list and if im lucky ill get one thing on it.

 

if you count asking for only $$ a list then maybe I do, I voted no though.

Too bad they dont make a budweiser gift card for 100 bucks or so.. My list ( My whole family does this every year), usually consists of stuff no one beides me knows how to get. Car stuff, computer stuff, you know the deal. I'm happy with some new socks and underwear. Maybe a new
wallet. Otherwise a walmart gift card is reason for a hug...

 

I used to for the longest time not make a list then like 2 years ago i did it, and got half of the stuff on there i wanted. So yeah its a good idea if you ask me.

 

the problem with the list is as you get older the stuff you have on your list gets more expensive so you end up getting less of the stuff on it

 

thats why you don't ask for a lot.

 

all i asked for this year was Pioneer Bluetooth Interface that plugs into the headunit in my car so I can use it with my phone and not have to take my hands off the wheel to answer the phone....even has voice dialing. i can scroll through recent phone calls and #'s via the head unit as well.
