Default GT's with over 400hp

Just wondering how many members have a Mustang GT (any year) with OVER 400 hp. Just throw your numbers, and dyno sheet, if you have them. Thought this would be a cool thread...

only person i have seen with those numbers is dom, he had a procharger on his car. But im a little outdated with the users and their cars since im not a regular on the boards.

maybe fonzy is around those numbers, i know he had a blower and a lot of stuff done to his car.

Here you go.
The 420 was a little too risky without installing the cobra double pumpers.

that wouldnt make it a 400hp car...just a car that can do 400hp when you push a button...not quite the same

i think you need more fuel pump for that much power. i could be wrong

my pig has max 396 hp at 6k rpms max 392 torque at 4300-4400 rpms. those were final numbers. my first dyno pull was 408 hp 390 tq ran out of pump at 5500 rpms so some timing got pulled and added a BAP and resulted with those numbers up top. my car is a auto and the only mods i had were vortech, powerpipe, 3.1 pulley (11-12 psi), intercooler, 75mm TB, accufag plenum and magnaflow exhaust. thats right stock manifolds and stock 4 cat H pipe!!!
heres a bad pic of my dyno sheet.

yeah it makes sense...but if you dont get it i wont bother explaining...it makes sense in my circle and thats good enough for me...but okay i'll make it simple...its like a ricer and a true musclecar making a run on the interstate...one guy is making 400 in his beast of an american supercharged engine...other guy is a damn ricer makin 400 in a spurt...who's gonna get where they have to go first...a guy whose hp comes in drops or the guy whose hp is roarin steady.....my opinion and i've actually been there

you make nitrous sound like it only works for a split second. thats what i think of a "spurt" split second just like if you were to spurt one on to a chicks face ETC.

my idea of how nitrous works is that it comes on in 2nd gear after 3k rpms turns off with window switch (lets say the window is on at 3k rpms off at 6k rpms)shift to third nitrous comes back on turns off at the window switch.... that doesnt sound like a "spurt" to me.

My car makes 423 rwhp and 550 rwtq on nitrous. It also has ran 11.55 @ 118 on the track......that's something a 423 rwhp blower car won't do

Lmgdao @ making 400 hp with a supercharger is not the same as with nitrous. 400 hp is 400 hp any way you look at it streetracer.

Actually it's much different .....with nitrous you'll have 100+ more rwtq. Torque wins races BTW

Thats not true because "we arent real muscle cars, we have drips of power", duh.

Typical person who has never used nitrous and only goes by what other uneducated people tell him about it.

For some reason, some people look at nitrous as cheating. An n/a motor making 400 hp will always get more respect. Even some people think a sc is cheating.

i would rather have a N/A high hp motor than the forced induction. But i would put NOS on it before a supercharger.

the highest i have ever seen in person was a guy that used to post on here his name is mike. He had a 01 with stock motor bottom end, ported heads,vt stage 2's,full exhaust, full bolt on's made 325rwhp. Thats the most i have ever heard a stock bottom end car ever make. His car was wicked fast even at OSW a badly prepped track his car went 11.8x's most of the time it was sick. Not what i would totally call streetable but a nice fast car.

He sold the car locally down here and he has been around since. And i woudl rather have a motor with a power adder because its just so much cheaper to make more hp then being N/A.

But i dont like the idea of the constant strain on the motor from the supercharger, whether the tune is good and you dont get on it that often. But i get on it a little when i drive. I want to eventually get the N/A setup finished and throw a 75-125 shot on and only use the NOS for track purposes. Which means i would have to take the bottle out when im just regular driving cause i would be too tempted to spray a lil now and then, lol.
