Call the law offices of F SCOTT FARREN and tell them YOU mean business,, LOL. But seriously 90 buck for registration is highway robbery. Only cost like 20 bucks here I think. She can still drive it in your name till next register.. Long as you don't report it stolen or anything..

Depends on the sate. In some states, if you keep the plates on the car, she will only have to pay a pro-rated rate. But, I think most places make you pay for the new registration.

BTW, I wonder if you could give it to her, w/o signing it over. G/f's don't last and you would not be the first person on this site who did something like this only to regret it later.

i would keep the car in your name and just "give" it to her as a gift, but dont take your name off it, who knows what the future holds. she can drive a car registered in someone else's name. I've done for years, my dad gets ford A plan, but i dont, so he "buys" the car in name only, and I finance it.

ha ha ha....if you think $90 i robbery don't ever try to register your car in Cali. The registration on my mach was $210 and it's even more on newer cars I believe. I'd be more than happy to fork over $90

Just type up a letter that has yours and hers DL on it stating that she has permission to operate the vehicle. You both sign it.

Have her keep it in the glove box in case she is pulled over.

That way if you ever break up, the car returns to you.

Problem solved.

dont think there is any way around it jack....question.....why sign it over to her? why not just give her the keys and be done with it? like ya said...shes the one...so what diff does it make whose name the car is under? that way you dont have to do a thing...just add her to your insurance

Hey man, I forgot you guys had a child together. That being the case, you are really locked for life more with the kid and the car is kind of a much smaller thing anyway.

While none of my business, hopefully you have the type of relationship where you can get married at some point then all the other crap won't matter.

LOL....you know, if your relationship can survive hanging wallpaper together, I think you can survive anything. My wife and I have been through some tuff ****, but wallpaper was one of the hardest.

I think that evey couple before they get married should try doing wallpaper together first. It's a great test and if you can survive that w/o killing eachother, then you are set for life - lol
