? about Bullet Mustang
Ok at my work today I see this guy in a Green Bullet. My question is I think its a fake. But I cant tell and I dont know about them that much b/c i rarely see them.
I can tell you this one does not have the Bullet brakes. thats what made me think is there any other ways to tell if its a fake?? |
behind the front tires theres a splash guard. tell him to pop the hood, iirc the throttle body or something is different..
|
umm, side scoops, wingless, should say bullitt, could only be black, dark green, or this blue color. I think they came with the bullitt fuel door, interior should have mach 1 looking seats and have all the shiny bullitt accessories, if he pops the hood, it will have a different upper intake compared to the GT's. yeah that is all i know. oh and the bullitt side skirts(the mud flap lookin things).
also, should sit slightly lower(has ford c-springs) and it should have mach 1 style quarter windows. |

they should all have the bullitt brake kit...lol...also did his seats look like this: http://i9.ebayimg.com/02/i/000/ag/10/c83d_1.JPG motor http://i8.ebayimg.com/04/i/000/ag/11/6b60_1.JPG serial ## http://i6.ebayimg.com/05/i/000/ag/10/3ca0_1.JPG brakes: http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t...8/DSCN0381.jpg |
it had a much bigger hood scoop
|
Different side rails too
|
Yea. Had the issue with a guy here talking bs saying his GT was a bullitt, finally was put to shame...
|
Often overlooked difference is the C-pillar panel above the glass... it angles back a much more aggressive angle. Rolled exhaust tips, and no fogs!
Dark Highland Green Black True Blue (like me!) |
k... they ALL have 13" brakes. If it don't... it aint.
|
side scoops and no wings are always a dead givaway to me

It was a Dark Green GT, just a little lighter than the DHG, that he had put the BULLITT letters on the deck lid. When I pulled up beside him he made a quick right turn at the next street. |
umm...what's DHG stand for?

Again my apologies, there are two car owners that have said they have mismatched C pillars on thier Bullitts, only one poster has a pic:

interesting the Bullitt's c pillar has a "dogleg" in it like every BMW made in the last 40 years. looks good IMO.

It was at Tecalote golf course.
hey HisPony have you seen the fake cobra off of rosecrans in point loma?? Have you seen the red "sixer" that has been "Badged" as a GT up there? Dude did a real shitty job of it. Only put the GT on the front fenders, nothing on the deck lid, stock single pipe on the passenger side. No offense meant to the sixer crowd, we own one also!! |

It was a mistake at the factory. It will take me a couple of days to dig up which one it was.
