Wow, i hope they find out what happened. the rabid wolverine was always a fan favorite when he was a good guy or bad guy. he came back to wrestle after breaking his neck in a match a few years ago. Hell, he was even one of the 4 horseman for a while. that's an elite group in wrestling.. RIP Chris..

 

Hmm. It seem s this is being investigated as a murder/ suicide.. I hope not. Maybe steroids can cause brain damage after all...

been watching for years...according to the other wrestlers the guy was supposed to do a show...he said he had to do something at home...he flew back home...and then this happened so i cant say i feel for him...

 

Yeah, according to reports I've heard and read, Double Murder-Suicide. Its a shame.

 

I've read that he killed his wife and son and then took his own life. He was a great wrestler and when I use to watch it I thought he was a bad ***..but I don't feel for him one bit for going out like a coward and taking his family along with him....fawk him.

he's heard in his circle is that Chirs Benoit's wife killed their son Daniel, called Chris and told him to rush home because of an emergency which is why he missed last Sunday's Vengeance PPV. Upon arriving home Benoit killed his wife in a rage for the death of his son and then killed himself Monday morning. His wife's body was found in the master bedroom, strangled with the cord from an alarm clock. The son's body was found in his room appearantly suffocated with a garbage bag. Chris then wrote a suicide note explaining what had happened, apologized to his family, his other children (from a seperate relationship), and his fans. He then fasioned a slip-knot noose from from rope taken from the garage and hung himself from the ballaster in the foyer of his suburban Atlanta home."

 

So i don't like none of that wrestling **** but what do ya'll think of this, they found this guy, his wife and kid dead. they say it could be murder suicide, thats crazy man. if he was gonna kill himself go head knock your self out, but y the wife and kid, especially the kid, he did nothing wrong, only 7 years old. also it must be a bad time for famous people, they seem to be dropping dead one at a time

The police reports actually said he was found in his weight room, the wife in her office, and the son in his bedroom. So not sure how much of this is true or not.

 

Well I was just reading that the police officially announced that Chris Benoit did kill his family and then himself. Apparently he strangled his wife, suffocated his son the next day, and then a good day later he hung himself by one of the pulleys on a workout machine. He had the dead bodies in the house for a good day or two before he killed himself. They also found steroids (surprise surprise). If your gonna kill yourself, why do you have to take other people down with you. What a shame.

yeah....i was watchin that 3 hour tribute they did for him last night on the wwe and i was thinkin while they talked about what an awesome human being he was that they would feel really stupid if it turns out we wacked his family and then was too cowardly to answer for it

 

If any ordinary person killed their wife, kid, and hanged himself after, he would be called a coward piece of ****, but since it was a famous guy eveyone is trying to defend him, how it was the steroids, or he was despressed, or the aliens made him do it. Guy is scum for what he did, period.

hes a gutless bastard who took his family. no matter what he ever did, it will never overcome the fact he murdered his family.

 

You can't create an excuse or make an exception for anyone, including celebrities.

This basically goes in general, the people that do this for celebs or call their life "hard" or whatever is going on in their life "hard" need to be slapped in the face.

Beniot taking his family will probably stay a mystery if there was no note left behind. And I'm not saying that murdering a woman or anything is fine, murder is wrong whoever it is. It just makes it worse that he took his son as well. I hope hes burning right now.

Hey, it sorta makes sense that he killed the kid too, in a messed up kinda way. Not that i should be saying that.. but.. I mean think of this scenario.

He gets all worked up about something, rushes home.. (paranoia?). Goes crazy at the wife and kills her. Then realises what hes done, and wants to kill himself. Then he thinks about the kid. Realises that the kid would be pretty messed up to find both parents dead.. so he kills the son so he doesnt have to see it, then kills himself out of shame.

I know this probably doesnt make sense or hold any chance of being true, but just another conspiracy theory.

 

what i meant was, in his state of hysteria (if that was what it was), he could really have been twisted enough to think that by smothering the boy he was somehow "saving him". Its not all that uncommon a practice among killers.

Authorities offered no motive for the killings, which were spread out over a weekend, and would not discuss Benoit’s state of mind. No suicide note was found.

“In a community like this it’s bizarre to have a murder-suicide, especially involving the death of a 7-year-old,” District Attorney Scott Ballard said. “I don’t think we’ll every be able to wrap our minds around this.”
