There's absolutely no excuse or good reason why Chris did this. You can't just kill your wife and kid for ANY reason on earth. This is just a plain ass confused individual decision with out any common sense reasoning. What he should have done was take his anger out on his opponent in the squared circle. But nope he had to snuff out 2 lives and then himself. What a f--cked up thing to do No Matter what transpired to cause it. Heck if was that pissed off he should have just left. take a chill pill dude.. Why anyone murders their family in cold blood is beyond me.. :dunno:

Babii C 06-26-2007 11:23 PM

Maybe she threatened to leave? After all, she was going to divorce him in 03.

still, its no excuse

zigzaggthefag321 06-26-2007 11:28 PM

any way thats some messed up shit.

Babii C 06-26-2007 11:37 PM

It is. I've heard of similar happening before though.

eric89 06-27-2007 12:00 AM

hoooooly shit! omg thats so sad that he died. I mean why is everyone blaming it on suicide or murder? I mean maybe someone killed him and his wife?

Well, its all speculation ofcourse, but then given the way things appear from reports (the dead wife, the dead son, and a dead father/husband), it is apparent the double murder suicide card is a possibility. You know what they say about popular belief.

I found this interesting.

Vince McMahon wants you to think about the stars of today and tomorrow, not the cemetery of steroid-fueled bodies his "sport" has helped put in the ground. But on the grim occasion of the deaths of Nancy and Daniel and Chris Benoit, let's remember some of the other pro wrestlers who died before their time.

Ravishing Rick Rude — Died at 40 of an apparent heart attack in 1999, a bottle of prescription pills for his bad back at his side. The autopsy report said he died of "mixed medications." Rude was an admitted user of anabolic steroids.

Louis Mucciolo, a.k.a, Louie Spicolli — Died in 1998 at age 27 when he suffocated on his own vomit after ingesting massive amounts of Soma and alcohol. Investigators also found an empty vial of testosterone, pain pills and an anti-anxiety drug at the scene.

Brian Pillman — An admitted user of steroids, he died of a heart attack at age 35 in 1997 on the morning of WWF's In Your House: Badd Blood pay-per-view event.

Rick "the Renegade" Williams — Died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at age 33 after being released from his World Championship Wrestling contract in 1999.

"Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig — Found dead of a cocaine overdose at age 44 in his motel room on April 10, 2003, the morning of a match. Hennig's father maintained that steroids and painkillers contributed to his death.

Rodney "Yokozuna" Anoa'i — Died of a heart attack in 2002 at 34.

Davey Boy Smith, "The British Bulldog" — Died of a heart attack at age 39 on May 17, 2002. An autopsy report indicated that past steroid use had likely played a part in his death.

Michael "Road Warrior Hawk" Hegstrand — An admitted steroid user, he died of a heart attack at age 46 in 2003.

Michael Lockwood, "Crash Holly" — In 2003, at the age of 32, he choked to death on his own vomit after ingesting 90 painkiller pills.

Jerry Tuite, "The Wall" a.k.a. "Malice" — Died at age 36 in 2003 of an apparent heart attack in his hotel room.

Raymond "Hercules" Hernandez — Dead of heart failure in 2004 at age 47.

Ray "The Big Boss Man" Traylor — Found dead of a heart attack in 2004 at age 42.

Eddie Guerrero — After a long battle with painkillers, he was found dead of a heart attack by his nephew in his hotel room at age 38. The first person his nephew reportedly called was Guerrero's best friend, Chris Benoit.

Chris Candido — Died in 2005 at age 33 from a blood clot after breaking his tibia and fibula and dislocating his ankle in a pay-per-view event.

Owen Hart — Fell to his death at age 34 in 1999 when the rigging that was lowering him into the ring malfunctioned.
And then there's the story of the Von Erich wrestling family.

Wrestling patriarch Fritz Von Erich, nee Jack Adkisson, had five wrestling sons: Kevin, David, Kerry, Mike and Chris.

David died in a hotel room in Tokyo at the age of 25 in 1984 just as he was embarking on a three-week pro wrestling tour of Japan. The official cause of death was acute enteritis, severe inflammation of the intestines.

Three years later, Mike committed suicide by overdosing on the tranquilizer Placidyl at the age of 23. After David's death, Mike had suffered a series of setbacks including a serious shoulder injury that had left him severely depressed.

Devastated by the deaths of his older brothers and frustrated by his own limitations as a wrestler, the youngest and smallest brother, Chris, shot himself to death at the age of 21 in 1991.

Two years later, Kerry, who had battled a long addiction to painkillers, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the age of 33, leaving eldest brother Kevin as the only survivor of the sport that had defined his family.

i'm starting to doubt chris did it....this homicide doesnt make sense....he got a phone call and went home...everybody died a day apart...the suicide note was from BOTH his and his wifes phone? why? why not just use your own? no written note...suicide text message? too neat...too clean...more i think about it...more it looks funny....i dont think this one is over

So I just read an interesting new discovery. Apparently someone with an IP address linked to Stamford, Connecticut (which is where the WWE main officed are) added something about Chris Benoits wife being dead on wikipedia 14 hours before ber body was even discovered. Interesting...

ahhh see...this is getting weird....i wonder where hulk hogan was that weekend

Babii C 06-28-2007 10:40 PM

yeah my brother was telling me about that, apparently trying to track down who it was.

SnTBakosFinest 06-28-2007 10:43 PM

..where was Brock Lesnar :(

rebelyell 06-28-2007 11:16 PM

Wasn't very many who could whoop Benoit. Maybe Brock but certainly not the Hulkster. Batista could have killed him with one hand, but he could probably kill anyone on earth with one hand. I think Chris just flipped the fock out and murder/suicide insued.. Dam shame too.. :shakeno:

SnTBakosFinest 06-28-2007 11:18 PM

Well that woudln't explain the wiki updates from Conneticut, or the update an hour later from an Australian wireless ISP. I've heard of using proxies, but not from the exact city ect.

Why don't you write that into a movie script. That is all a little cliche though. Try again. Come up with something more elaborate.

SnTBakosFinest 06-30-2007 12:58 AM

I don't know, theres got to be some sort of dirt.

As for this whole "steroid - roid rage" thing...thats a little retarded. You don't have a roid rage for 3 days straight.

Back in highschool..my sophomore year I did a little of it, was taking Test 250, 1cc every other week. And yea, I did get moody out of nowhere ect, and I snapped, but not for 3 days straight. My rage lasted more like..5-10 minutes.

I DO know of people going on roid rages and killing other people, including loved ones. A guy in my town killed his mom on a roid rage.

Depression could be a cause, but that won't really hold up unless he was on some heavy anti-depressent like Paxil or something, and then just stopped cold turkey.

I had a friend who did that, and stopped cold turkey, he murdered his mom and committed suicide, in the 911 recording he said the devil was talking to him..

So I mean, the two substances, or the anti depressents alone could cause something like that, but for the most part, not the steriods themselves I don't beleive.
