i'm half puerto rican, and like a fourth cuban..i used to be fluent when i was a kid...but now i know almost none..i wish i never stopped speaking it

i took spanish in college. barely learned anything but still got a B.

I been thinkin about trying one of those Rosetta Spanish programs just to see if i can notch myself back up again.

blah, I listen to it allday long if you come to the US it should be MANDATORY to learn english.. IMO

I fail to see how this pertains to my original question. I simply asked who speaks spanish...however I agree with your statement...

My dad was in the army and he could speak fluent spanish. I took spanish in the 9th grade and failed with honors. I did learn some phrases though.

Como se yama usted? que pasa, Buenos noches. Por favor.. Now you can see why i failed. Spanish is a very hard language to master. But it's easier than most others. It seems the American language is pretty easy to learn. As long as you dont use Ebonics. Nomesayin..

No surprise that I speak spanish since I live in S Fla. Down here spanish is the main language. I speak spanish like a gringo but it doesnt bother me.

it ticks me off that they have the drivers test in a different language. ITS BS if you cant read the test you cant read the road signs and should not be driving.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that spanish will become U.S.A's second "unofficial" language in a decade or two....
