I've got the Remington Titanium one and love it. Not as close as a razor but not bad.

Can't beat the M3 Power...Cartridges cost like 15-20 bucks for 5 but the shave is the best you can get and you can use the same razor like 5 or 6 times.

I've got a Mach 3 and a braun self-cleaning. For some reason, the braun won't cut a few hairs on my neck so I have 2 go over it with a mach 3...

Yes I have noticed that around the neck area its not that effective so I have to work it more around there. Nothing like a razor but I was lazy and would not shave everyday, with the electric razor I shave everyday. I have the self cleaning also.

Meh. I just let my beard grow out. As I've explained to a few girls at work... "it's a 'Monday' thing." Shave Monday morning, then the rest of the week I let grow. Heh. M3 Power razor has been workin' the best for me though. Smooth as a baby's behind.

I've been using Good News disposables for at least 20 years. I can use 1 for at least 3 shaves. Close as you want to get too. The trick is to get a piping hot wet towel on your beard for a few mins. Or if you drive a truck like I used to you could dry shave...:icon_sile

Dude AMEN!!!!!!
I have to sahve every F'n day and it SUCKS! I have tried every kind of shaver on the market and there is no substitute for the Gillette Mach 3 Power razor handle with Mach 3 Turbo blades. The Mach 3 Power blades blow, but the vibrating handle is worth it because it kind of soothes the burn and I don't get razor burn as bad.
Electric razors always tore me up no matter what ones I tried.
The F'n blades are expensive but I write them off at the end of the year since I have to shave for my job. I usually get two or three good shaves from each blade before it goes in the trash but that includes a arm shaving too.....yeah I know I'm a ***, whatever...

i usually only shave once or twice a week, but not because of a lack of facial hair. my stupid hair is a PITA. it's thick and if it's not causing ingrowns, it's causing pimples due to the skin irritation. i have to let it grow out 2-3 days in order to get a decent shave without making my skin raw.

the ONLY razor i will use is the gillette mach 3, with edge shaving gel.

When I HAD to shave every day, often times it was a blue bic disposable and spit

Now...standard mach 3 works for my requirements. I would have used them in the field, but they seemed to get gunked up to quick with the combination of sand, dirt, saliva, and encrusted dead skin cells, lol. I saved the good razors for when I was home

ive got the remington titanium r9500. its a self cleaning with led display and i like it but your face needs to get used to switching over from a razor to an electric. It took my face about 2 weeks. I always had a problem with my neck area too but mines has the built in trimmer so i usually use that first, then shave it. It was like a 130 dollar shaver like a year ago.
