WTF is wrong with this country..
I got a BIG ole rant for anyone in this country legal or illegal.. I don't want to criticize any one group about this so bear with me please.
My 15 year old son told me tonight he doesn't have school on Friday. I look at the calender, school is in session as usual. I said BS you got school. Nope he told me. Why I asked? Because some nut has threatened to shoot up the school on Friday.. I know we all have been thru the old bomb threats that used to be popular with certain ner do wells and such but, Gadam you can't be sure if some misguided student is really gonna do it.. Well my wife is letting him stay home. I can't say I don't disagree with it.. We got an official call from the principle of his HS that said they have investigated it and they have done all they can to insure their safety.. Please come to school. Well I can't guarantee my son will be safe so he stays home.. No doubt it's a copycat thing but my son and everyone else his age all over America are gonna suffer cause of this. Of course it's not gonna happen, BUT it might.. WTF is gonna take to rid us from the senseless assualts on our childrens education.. They are the next generation of our country's leaders.. God help our kids when they grow up without a basic HS education.. We need a RANT section on these forums too. (while I'm Ranting) DAMMIT.. :godamnit: |
Kids are ****ed up...

When parents became to scared to physically punish their children is when this all started. I grew up getting cracked w/whatever my mom could get her hands on and that's the way Wade Jr. is gonna get it as well.
Violent games on xbox, rap music, vilent movies,,etc,,,,is part the blame for societies ill's. Parents: "spare the rod, spoil the child." This is part of the problem, |

I would agree that violent movies, game, etc. in the hands of a messed up kid can contribute to the problem, but they dont mess up a good kid. I've been playing video games, watching R movies for as long as I could remember. It's all about how you were raised and the enviroment you grew up in. I'm 25 getting married next year and I still play games where I'm chainsawing someone in half. I'm perfectly happy and normal. Then again, I was raised in a good home, was taught respect, and if I misbehaved, then I got spanked by my mom and learned my lesson.
Stockton is the first one on that list and just last night on the news the cops stopped two kids with guns before they got on campus. The cops stopped them because they were supposed to be in school, not outside of campus....anyway, they had guns and pictures of two kids they were going to kill in class. I think this was gang related though. crazy stuff |
Take God out of school this is what you get!

Because God solves all of our problems.:kekekegay: Like I said above, I play violent games, watch all types of movies, etc etc. and I turned out fine without God in my life. I have been to church once and that was only because I had to. Easter Mass in a Catholic church sucks by the way. Anyways, I'm not bashing religion or God or anything like that, but come on dude, to say someone is messed up because God isn't in their life is just way off course.

God was never in school. Kids being forced to be quiet for 20 seconds every morning is not God in the classroom. It's 20 seconds of quiet which I suppose keeps the teachers from busting o-rings but does little to glorify conversion disorder... er I mean god.
God has exactly two things to do with school shootings: jack and shiit. Jack left. EDIT: For those self important zealots out there, think of the massive blood-letting that would follow formal adoption of any religion in school or government. We're fighting theocracies all over the globe cuz they tend to be the uber nutcase bible thumper types that think their way to pray is the "right" way and your way is bad for society, so they'll go ahead and tell you and your kids when and where and how to pray and to whom. Those same nut jobs are the ones with all the political power and money (they steal from god-fearin' folks in one way or another). All religion has ever gotten us is war, disease, corruption, war, war, war, war, war, corruption, war, and war. Kill God and save mankind. |

I must agree with Wade. Too many parents are scared to ummm "spank" their children anymore. They say "its not right to dicipline children that way" but then they wonder what the hell is wrong with so many kids getting in trouble in school with guns, gangs and drugs these days. Not only my MOM whipped the hell out of me, aunts, uncles, damn near any "grown up" that caught me F-ing up tore into my ass LOL...... And after ALL those whippings I received, I say I am a better man because of em!

mega dittos. My mom beat me like it was on sale and I deserved it most of the time. I'm a decent guy now and the whippins had to have helped cuz I was a BAD kid.
My kids get spanked when they need one and people always tell me how wonderful my kids are. They're even good when nobody is looking. Amazing how far a little pain association can go. |
i was spanked and look how i came out..

Amazing how far a little pain association can go. pain is a great learning mechanism, just gotta make sure you dont go from "education" to "abuse". i think most parents out there are quite capable of making that disctinction without social services taking thier kids away. as for the ones who cant figure out where to draw the line, even if they never hit thier kids they would still be bad parents. lol I could explain that it is bad to touch a hot stove for 10 hours to a kid. However, that 10 hours of explaining wont amount to shit compared to a half a second after they put thier hand on the stove. lol. |

lol.... at this point, you could end up career criminal, or a senator.... but i repeat myself. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA |
Aside from this whole issue I think younger kids (6-13) need to get the **** off of the cell phones and computers and start doing some outside work and helping out.....I didn't have my own pc till I was I don't know, 12 maybe..but I paid for it, it was a major POS....but now there are 6 year olds on computers playing FPS games like Counter-Strike and THAT is ****ed up, when I was 6 I spent my days outside playing baseball and stuff..and I see these little ****ers in elementary school with cell phones - WHAT THE **** DO YOU NEED A CELL PHONE FOR WHEN YOU'RE 8, WHAT THE ****?
And then there's the whole deal about kids younger than 13 ****ing each other in the school bathrooms..............good ****ing god And half these little kids are like miniature Michillen Men with all them rolls..rofl what the hell happened to our society Jack you BETTER not let you kids turn out like this or I'll steal your 'stang and tell the popo's bout the hookers. |

Ill give you all one simple example of the problem with kids today.. It has nothing to do with god, it has nothing to do with any kind of religion at all.. It has to do with discipline and discipline alone.
A young kid 6-7 years old, a grand-mother and the childs mom walk into a video store. The entire time the child is whining for a piece of candy, and the mother tells her child "no, you can't have that piece of candy." What happens next? On the way out the door the kid steals the candy. After a minute or two the mother comes back in and says, "Im so sorry, my child just stole this candy and Im returning it to you.. Sounds all fine and peachy right? Well, a few seconds later, the grand-mother walks right back in and buys the candy and gives it to the kid.. So, can you tell me what this teaches the child? Throw a fit, if you don't get what you want, steal it.. The above is a true story, it happened while my fiance' was working @ the local video rental store. How does that translate into all of this? Kid in school - "I don't have any friends, and I hate all of these people, so I think I'll just kill them and get my way, they'll see, now they will understand how I feel!" Now, why do parents not discipline? It could be that they weren't disciplined as children, or the extreme other side and were disciplined too severely.. My theory? Stupid democrats and liberal's prossecuting parents for giving their children a good old fashioned ass whipping. Ill be damned if the government will ever tell me how to raise or discipline my children. If my kid stole a piece of candy from the store, he would have to walk straight back into the store, apologyze and he would KNOW what was waiting for him when he got home.. A nice paddle just waiting to beat his ass red. That's my $.02 |
Most of these "threats" are from what happened at VT. I believe they are doing it solely because they do not want to go to class, and the kids who are doing these "threats" know it cannot be ignored. It is just dumbass little kids who want to mentally **** with people.

One of the reasons I got so steamed about my son Not going to school is because he isn't making very good grades. He always did before he went into the tween years. He'll be 15 this year and he is failing almost everything. I am personally embarassed because of this. We do discipline him. all I have to do is get that look in my eye and snatch him up in 1 quick movement and he knows he is close to an ass whoopin.
But problem is now he is 15 and he aint no little boy no more. I could bust his ass with no problem but I risk hurting myself or hurting him in the process. It won't come to that.. So we got him into "therapy sessions" with a behavior doctor. That fool told us too leave him alone. If punishment aint working just get off his back. Now this doctor wants to see me on his next appt. I sure hope he don't piss me off too bad. All my sons teachers say he is the greatest kid, but he doesn't do his schoolwork. Doesn't turn in his projects, even when we make sure he does them. He forgets to turn them, he says. Gadam I work all day and my wife works all day. We can't babysit him with his assignments. Anyway any time he aint in school hurts his chances of passing the 9th grade. He's a good kid and my only child, but I am getting disappointed at his lack of effort to do better.. I too grew up to the tone of a hickory switch. And believe me if I f--cked up (which I did many times) I knew I had at least 2 ass whoopins coming from both mom and dad. Even at 13 or 14 yrs old.. By the time I was 16 I had my mind straight.. :cop: |
I just think it's funny that the guy who made the GOD remark has yet to post back in here. Anyways, I have noticed lately how kids don't do many outdoor activities anymore. When I was younger I would play football with friends almost everyday. My parents didn't worry about me gettin hurt or whatever. It's good for kids. Some parents today think their kids are going to get hurt playing a little contact sport or whatever so they just let them stay inside and play video games and watch t.v. Whatever happened to kids playing hide and go seek and all those other games the neighborhood kids played?

By the time I was 16 I had my mind straight.. :cop: For example, on our last 9 weeks report card, I had a GPA of 1.71, No F's, but 4 D's..sitting in homeroom and hearing that the dumbasses in there have 3.00's, people that probably have IQ's less than 100, and would only succeed in life if they were able to become a prof basketball player, kind of gets on my nerves. They are taking classes that would be equivalent to that of a junior high school education.., but since their GPA is higher, even though my classes are way more demanding than theres, they will be the ones the colleges look at. Before HS I consistently made a 3.85, my work ethic and time management actually improved in highschool..........not sure what went wrong there...now I just don't care as much since I'm setting my sights on the Army..but I am not going to give up school, though. My parents also consider me a slight embarressment, I use to be their great A average son who they could brag about to all of their friends, now all they do is talk about how wonderful my bro (graduated top of his class in IB program and in engineering school atm) is and just kind of evade any discussion of my academic performance...but I'm not too mad about it, a lot of the kids in my class, who make the A's, are all pot heads that go out and get stoned every friday and get drunk on weekends.. I'm not sure how they do so good in school, most of them are complete ****tards in class, and I wouldn't want to be one of them. |
