So i sold my GT, finally...
got $14,000 for it, little less than i would have really liked, but i only payed
$14,900 for it in '04. i work with the guy i sold it to, so now i have to look at someone else driving it. kinda sad...
anyway, that definitely frees up some money for the cobra. i'm thinking whipple before too long. hopefully this summer.

nice, 900 dollar loss over 3 years aint bad at all, port the blower, full exhaust, intake and heads and cams, thats what i would do maybe no the cams but if you get the stage 3 steigmeir port you will have just a little less power than a whipple for a 3rd of the price

yeah, i'm not too upset about the $900 loss. i was looking into the port, but the thing is, it still runs really hot when it's ported, and the whipple is more efficient when the boost is turned up. i'm planning on doing the exhaust first, i meant to say that. it sounds all right, i just can't hear it over the blower whine(which is the one of the best sounds in the world) and i'd like to be able to hear it a lil. i wouldn't mind getting heads and cams, but that'll be a little while. the only thing that concerns me is the motor does have 60k on it, so i don't wanna turn up the boost too much (apparently, they're kinda expensive to replace). i dunno, i might look into the stieg porting a little more, but either way, i think it's gonna be a lot of fun.
