There was an article in Mopar Muscle a while back about how something like this happened in the states. a guy bought a farm and found a bunch of old muscle cars out in the woods...the bodies were obviously very rough, but anymore, even a completely rotted out factory hemi car will still fetch a couple grand, basically just for the vin and fender tags.
