I just turned 19 in November. Got my GT when I turned 17, had it 2 years now and have had no problems and love it. I'm keeping this car forever just cuz' its my 1st car and eventually I wanna drop either a 5.4 supercharged or a 03/04 Cobra engine in

I'm only 55. I bought my first new car in 1973. It was a yellow 73 Mustang Grande with a 351 CID Cleveland engine. It had a Ginger colored vinyl top. What a looker! Deluxe everything, back when you had hundreds of options to choose from. You almost built the car yourself! I've owned a 1966 Red Mustang (I restored it), 1972 Yellow Mustang (another restoration), and now a new 2003 Red Mustang GT CV (purchased in 2002). How do you younger guys afford the car insurance? Got to be expensive!

25 here also, and with my wife for about 9 years, 5 years dating and married almost 4 years. she's great though because she loves mustangs and doesn't give me to much hassle on buying things unless it's a little to often.

V6 is doing great for me, but when I roll around 20, I'll have enough money saved up for a GT that's my plan ...christ 20... time flies.

BUMP!
I was just looking through old threads trying to find this one article and came across this one
I'm 16 going to be 17 in March
Just got my stang in November and trying to learn some tech things. I never thought I would end up driving a stang though tbh. I was raised to see American cars as "lower quality" compared to Japanese and European cars, which may or may not be true. I was in fact pretty sure I was going to get a 300ZX, Lancer evo 8 or g35. BUT I ended falling for the stangs and then I saw the Saleens :tongue8:

Will be 53 January 14th.
First stang was a used 69 Fastback, 302, 3 on floor. I was 2nd owner and it had 23,000 on it when I bought it. I was probably the only person in the country that had a LOWERED car back in the early 70's.
Other cars of interest I've owned were a 54 Dodge with a Hemi, 63 Austin Mini Cooper S (used for auto-x only), 68 AMX - 343 auto, 69 AMX - 390 4 spd., 70 Volvo 1800E - souped.
Just got my 2nd stang 3 years ago, a 99 GT. Wife of 27 years currently has a 04 Mazda 3, 5 door. We traded her 03 Miata in on it.
As far as long term relationships go me and the wife met when we were 15. Dated to age 20 then broke it off a while. Got back together and married at 24.
