Talking my first stang!!!

I just got great news from my parents! In the next few months i will obtain my first car a Blue 01-03 GT with a 5-speed! I have loved mustangs since the age of 12 and have become the go to person for info on stangs locally. So finally i will be able to take all that knowledge and apply it to my first stang which i will name Blue Thunder. Thanks for all ya'lls support over the years and teaching me about stangs and car related stuff. I will have approx. 2000-3000 dollars to work on my car with to start off. Once again thanks and i'll keep ya'll posted.

Congrats. A GT really isn't that great of a starter car since it's bound to get dinged up with your learning process, I started with an 89 chevy pickup my self, moved up to a v6 mustang 5spd, then an eagle talon, dodge truck, and now my GT. good luck, don't hurt the GT. I woulden't start doing any mods untill you';ve become comfterable with the car, and have some behind the wheel expierence

Blue Thunber what are your plans? Do you you want a nice street car or do you plan on taking it to the track to run?
Either way 4.10's would be the first thing I would do. After that it really depends on what you are after in regards to mod's.

I will be doing some highway driving so i'm goin with 3.90's probably. I'm also goin to do Mac longtube headers, mac prochamber, magnaflow catback system, some sort of programer or tune, and after this summer DR's, UDP's, T/B and Plenum. I am going to do to the track occasionally but not all the time so most of the time it will be a daily driver with some spunk but later plans include heads and cams and beefing up the rear some.
