Default National Championship Game Poll

I want to know your guys opinion on the BCS National Championship its very controversial right now.

Personally I want to see the Gators play Ohio. No offense to Michigan but you had your chance and failed. Let the Gators step up and show you how its done.

Also I think it's a damn disgrace that there is no playoff system in Div. I College Football. All the poll's are BS!

And to wait a month for 1 game to decide it all is complete BS!

I think it will be the closest game that we've seen in a long time. Gators should have the edge though they have played every type of offense and defence they could possibly play against. I think the Gators have a blood lust and will be unrelentless. And I think Ohio is taking they're practices and reviewing lightly of the National Championship and I dont think they will be up to the challenge.

You seem like a big fan like I am. Check out espn.com and vote on the poll on there for who should play and check out the map everyone in the SEC pretty much voted gators and everyone close to Michigan voted Michigan. I DO NOT SEE THE REASON IN LETTING THEM PLAY AGAIN. Since when in the BCS they let 2 teams play each other more that once!?!

Nobody wants to see a rematch of the 2 the end result will be the same. THey know each others plays, strongs suits, weak suits. Granted Michigan may be a good team but they blew they're their shot. Rematches are just unheard of at the college level.

Even with the muffed punt they would have won. In football the errors other teams make do not give them the right to make excuses and ask for a rematch.

And UCLA....awesome just awesome. Watched the rest of it in the middle of the SEC halftime.

I am a michigan fan but with floridas win and how hard there schedule was, they deserve to be in it. I think florida is better than everyone thinks they are. Oh and ohio state is way overated. The only legit games they had was the michigan game and when they played texas and that was mCcoys first game

Heres some fuel for the fire....

The Gators beat nine bowl teams. Michigan beat six. Florida played just two teams with losing records, and the Wolverines played five. UF was 4-1 against ranked teams, Michigan 1-1.

Ohio State, overrrated? Your only saying that because you're from Ohio, a michigan fan, and you're sick of everyone in Ohio rooting for OSU.

OSU overrrated my ***. They were preseason #1, and they held that ranking the entire season, that's damn tough to do. AND they stayed undefeated. They have the soon to be heisman trophy winner, two outstanding tailbacks, and one hella of a YOUNG defense that NOBODY thought they was gonna be any good. Their defense may not be the #1 defense, but wayyy better than proposed. They've only let I think 10? points off turnovers ALL SEASON! and that was all in the Mich. game. But yet, they've scored over 110 points off of turnovers all season, that's an INCREDIBLE stat.

With that said, it would be absolutely stupid if OSU played Mich. again. I think they should play Florida, and it might be a good game. Yea, Florida had the tougher schedule, but OSU.. well they are the best team in the land, and they will come out on top. I don't even think it'll be that close.

But who has Ohio State really beat besides Michigan?Don't,oh please don't say Texas, they lost 3 games this year.

Untill there is some kind of a playoff system it will alway's be decided on opinion's.

It would be Texas again if Vince Young had stayed one more year. That's my opinion

I said OSU hasn't really beat anyone, at least I meant too. And you can't really rule out Texas... at the time, texas was #2 and this was their first lost. So it was a huge game at the time. OSU did beat two #2 teams all season, not just ranked teams, but TWO #2 teams. That has to count for something.

And I totally agree there should be a playoff system.

I think the OSU vs Michigan game was WAY to close to assume the same outcome personally, and I think Florida would get walked all over after seeing how they played last night. Honestly thought Ark was going to come back for a while. JMHO

Thats how Florida plays they arent in it for large spreads.A win is a win in their book. And you'd be surprised what a championship game can do to a team once they get all rowdy. Plus the SEC is a much harder division than the Big 10. Florida knocked down 9 bowl teams. 9!!!

agree completely^^^^^^

it was close 42-39 AT OHIO STATE with ohio state having 2 long runs that michigans #1 rush defense prob would not let up again

i feel michigan would win the rematch at a neutral site and a rematch would realy make some ppl consider changing the bcs because this system is terrible.... but all the voters punished michigan for not playing the final week

I'd really like to know how Notre Dame got into a BCS bowl. They lost to every good team they played and LSU is going to kill them.

As long as the pollsters decided on Florida based on merit I am satisfied. This whole rematch thing is BS. If the two top teams played once, so what. For a championship, you want the two best teams to play. I think it is rediculous to have so many consolation games and have a panel of people decide the fate of 2 teams, giving them the chance to win the championship. How is that good for the game? Isn't winning the championship a goal that teams set for themselves? I mean, that goal could be flushed down the toilet after week 1 for some teams, especially if 2 teams go undefeated. With a 12 game season, some of those teams may not have the opportunity to play 1 of those top 2 to make them not undefeated. That is one reason why I hate college football. The other being that Duke hasn't been good in quite some time so of course I am going to be a little bitter. That's what basketball is season is for..

I think the BCS got it right by putting Florida and not michigan in since my Trojans took a crap on themselvs....just a horrible performance.

Anyway, there probably won't be a playoff system.

1. A four team playoff----that can work when there are 4 worthy teams, but if not it becomes a joke. Who would be your 4th team this year....Louisville? LSU? Wisconsin?

2. Or maybe an 8 team playoff?? You could invite the 6 conference champions, but what would happen in the case of Boise State or some othe school that is not in the large conferences, but worthy.

3. Also, there could be a + 1 system where the top two winners from the bowls play for the NC game. That could possibly make the UCLA win pointless because if USC beat michigan they'd be right back in the national championship game rather than the bruins spoling it.

I'm not saying there shouldn't be something, but no system will be perfect I don't think.

Why should a team that their only loss was to the # 1 team in the nation not be in the National championship? Florida lost to Auburn, where are they? not #1. and dont give me this crap about finishing second in their conference should be a reason not to be in the game, hmm lets see the steelers last year didn't win their division lokk what what happened.

Michigan is better that Florida.... Bottom line

whwy wouldnt people want to see a rematch of the biggest rivalry in sports? makes no sense

Not sure it's the biggest rivalry in sports, but it's one of them....Also I'm not quite sure how you say michigan is better than florida hands down...we'll never know cause they won't play this year. Florida plays the toughest schedule in the nation and michigan not playing the last two weeks kinda doesn't help either....yeah, that's not their fault, but I think people forgot about them a little bit. Also, honestly don't think people wanted to see the match up again even though it was a great game. I think if michigan and ohio st. played again and michigan won it would cause some serious BCS issues because they split games.
Just my two cents, but I don't think anyone can honestly say michigan is hands down better than florida.

michigan got robbed twice they lost 2 osu by 3 on the road......and didnt drop they were still #2

then they dont play and usc beats ND but not as bad as michgan beat them and michigan gets bumped to #3 for no reason

then usc loses...michigan should move up 2 #2 but once again they get jumped without losing.....thats just not right

michigan was number 2 for almost 2 months and did nothing to lose that spot.....ppl voted for no rematch which would of been a classic game MICHIGAN OSU is the biggest rivalry in sports it comes first almost everytime they do that show on espn ranking the rivalries, sometimes is loses out to boston new york

Biggest rivalry my butt. And for michigan being a better team they played a bunch of pussies. Lets look at the stats since you think they are better

The Gators beat nine bowl teams. Michigan beat six. Florida played just two of those teams with losing records, and the Wolverines played five with losing records. UF was 4-1 against ranked teams, Michigan 1-1

And you shouldn't compare the NFL to the BCS theres a reason there isnt a playoff system they dont want to be like them. ANd BCS officials will say the same thing.

Michigan fans can whine and complain alll they want but it's not going to change anything the fans and coaches have spoken and they want to see a Florida and Ohio game. Michigan doesnt have to like it but they have to accept that fact.
