Default New clutch finally broken in

After 3 weeks i fianlly got over 450 miles on my new SPEC stage 2 clutch. I must say i am pretty happy with it. It chattered like crazy for the 450 miles once it was ready i did a few rips down the highway and now it hardly chatters at all. It grabs very hard with hardly any extra pedal feel at all (I still think my pedal is to light feeling i wish it was stiffer). It spins the tires on the 1-2 shift now rather then bark and grab like it used to (i have nitto drags). So now its time to do some Nitrous runs and see how it works out. Possible videos to come up this weekend or so of a few nitrous runs.

I'll laugh when you blow that motor......I'll give it a shot my 125 to your 150...not sure if the motor or the rear end will give in first

With my luck it will be a battle to the death of my tranny again.....Dustin i've known you for roughly 1 and a half and the only time we raced was out of that toll booth and I had you.

I tell you what if you help me sell my friends performance Camaro torque converter that he has its worth $600. I sell that and get some new tires.....loser of the race between you and me has to buy 2 refills of nitrous.

You said your clutch chattered, can you describe this to me, is it only when you engage the clutch? I plan on getting the same clutch as soon as I get a few other things straightened out, and I don't want to get something that's going to annoy me to death.

any clutch once you get off the oraganic ones, will chatter pretty much no matter what. Chatter is just when your at a dead stop and you rev the motor and start letting the clutch out you get a chatter its the clutch grabbing and slipping at the same time. Its really bad at first but once its broken in its almost gone. Mine has very little chatter and seems to only be when its cold now thats it. But even soo its very little.
