ebay is full of lowballers and you wont get much for it. put it on autotrader.com or cars.com.
I got mine off cars.com

I bought my DD off ebay over 3 yrs ago. 99 Mazda Millenia w/64K (then). It's been a good car and it pretty much came from the Dallas area auto auctions via a dealer using ebay as a storefront..

I had it shipped on a car carrier to me. If you can buy from someone with good feedback, have phone conversations in advance of the purchase, etc... then I wouldn't worry too much.

Ebay can work out good sometimes..Just ask Lance.

Just be careful of scams. Some will want to overpay you for your car saying that they have only one check they can send you. lets say you want 5k and check is for 15k but buyer will pay you 10k. Your bank will accept it but in a week or 2 it will bounce. In the meantime the buyer will ask you to give him back 5k plus ship the car overseas, its all a scam which is spreading all over. This happen to me but I knew about the scam its the Nigerian Scam. I had someone from UK contact me after I put SVO up in autotrader.com. After several polite email from possible buyer and me LOL I told him that I had a family friend that lives in his part of the world and would pick up the check and cash it . I asked for his contact info and he never emailed me back.

I bought mine last year off of EBAY but it happened to be local, less than 20 miles from my place. Put in a local search, that way you can at least have a chance to see it before you bid. Any reputable seller shouldn't have a problem letting you check it out. The seller in my case was more than willing to let me see it. He even put it on a lift and handed me a droplight. He had nothing to hide, the car was just as he described it.

o boy... ebay
SPARKNOTES ON BOTTOM
I love ebay, buy stuff from there, my dad buys alot of things (one of his hobbies is fixing up old tube radios...) from ebay, some good, some bad.
We bought a car for me off ebay a few years back... 1994 v6 candy apple red, looked great, we knew it may not be as good as it looks but went for it anyway (<2500)
So we went down to go check it out, without giving them the money, or the deposit they wanted... REALLY wanted. My dad wouldnt give it to them for obvious reasons. We woudl just give it to them when we got there. So we go down... to NEWARK NJ ... bd neighborhood, really bad. There office was crappy, a combat shotgun on the front desk. A pitbull in the lobby. We asked them about the car, blah blah blah. they went to go get it from the lot. Took them forever (assumed that it was because they had to move other cars to get it out) turns out the car just wouldnt run. Eventually they got it out to the front, where my dad tride to start it. The guy accused hi mof flooding it (because it wouldnt start) Meanwhile, my dad is an ASE certified car technician and ASE certified truck technician, hedidnt flood it. Eventually he got it started, and the check engine light was on, and it was making an odd noise. We left, fast. Apparently someone had been shot and killed in the area recently over 300 dollars... we just skipped out on 2500 dollars worth of POS mustang and 300-500 dollar deposit. We later found my beautiful 1995 V6 mustang on bargainnews.com (a local auto mag, which is also online), got it for 3000 with a tranny problem that was well known. Pilot bearing, new clutch, and a resurfaced flywheel and it drove like a champ. That car looked immaculate in and out.
And now we got my new GT off of Autotrader.com from a dealership in Mahopac NY...

SPARKNOTES: LOL WE WENT TO NEWARK AND ALMOST GOT SHOT HAHAH!?
I <3 EBAY OTHERWISE!!
