I had been a member over there for almost three years...met my current boyfriend on the site actually... long story... then two days ago me, my boyfriend, and two others got the permaban for something we didnt do... another member found out how to reverse infractions and reversed some peoples infractions, mine and my boyfriends were among them, so they perma banned us accusing me of doing it... I dont even know how to do that ****, I thought only mods could do that... my BF was at work all day and knew nothing of it...... in the end I proved my innocence but it did not matter, a few of the mods had personal issues with me, have ever since me and the BF hooked up, so they were appearantly looking for a reason.... honestly Im not that upset anymore... I have watched that forum turn into one big OFF TOPIC flame fest... its like its not even a mustang board anymore ...... sorry for the rant... I just have a hard time accepting punishment for something I know I didnt do.

yeah i have been posting over their a bit too, and their is just flame on everything...if one thing is wrong on your car, your thread is toast, and your car will be hated and flamed to pieces.

 

yeah, I may not have the best car, but its mine and Im proud of it, and I get alot of hate over there because I dont have engine mods.... why would I want to upgrade my engine just to waste more gas right now? I drive a 4 yr old around, I dont need more power.

 

I havent been a memer on their long but the Mods are dicks. You say anything not related to the topic of some of the topic but not helpful the go crazy.

It's really none of my business, but if you run the math, you really wont save much money buy going to a more fuel efficient car. Why? Because the amount that you loose on the sale of your car will get totally lost in whatever you save on the more fuel efficient car.

Unless, of corse, you plan on going with a much cheaper car.

You seem to be a cute girl so feel free to stick around. I honestly don't care if you drive a V4 or V2 Mustang. Enthusiasts are welcome, hating ricers aren't.

 

You should really calculate on paper what MT#1 is talking about. How much gas savings will you be getting over a year with your new car. I have a Hemi Durango and it gets 14mpg city the v6 gets 16mpg do you think 2mpg over a several years will make a difference just calculate it out on paper and you will see that the money you save is not much at all. Its a different case if you are going to get a car that gets 30mpg or higher as you will cut your gas bill in half. What car do you plan on getting and whats the MPG? I would start there and see if its worth switching or Ex. instead of going out to eat every weekend you can go every other weekend, you can budget somewhere else.

 

I've been talking about how 3.8 has become nothing more thena huge *** high school board LOL. You have the inner click and then you have the not inner click. Everyone's car looks the same because they don't want others on 3.8 to flame them, and if you have a different opinion you will get flamed. Then all the leg humpers will jump in to make themselves feel better etc... LOL Don't like the site that much anymore just go there once in awhile to see what people are doing in the power adders section...

 

1. 3.8mutangs.com is a garbage site, they have ****ty tech, ****ty mods ****ty people. It is just bad, and unfortunatly, it is were everyone goes when they first start modding there car. Go to v6power.net if you want good v6 tech info, like REAL tech. I've learned more about cars in general on v6power.net then ANYWERE else. (aside from actually working on cars)

2. My car got 28-29MPG before my gears, this was stock with UDP's and CAI and duel exhaust. Those were the only mods and i was getting 28+MPG on the HW.

ive never been on 3.8, so I have no comment there, other than the people here on the mustang tuning boards were great to me when I had my v6. my v6 was also a 95, so we had the reaaally tall gears which gave awesoem gas mileage and driving on the highway was fun because the gears never ended... 120mph at <4k in 4th gear
