its been months since i got on here...but wrecked GT and looking at 2 cars right now...both im interested in...just need an idea on wut you guys think...


05 SRT Orange 17900 (pretty solid...might not lower)

03 Mustang Mach1 DSG 19200 (they MIGHT lower to 18900, because of condition?)

test drove mach1, loved it, but my friend also test drove it before and said it seems to of been beaten up...wasnt taken care of...and after reving the engine, for a few minutes you still hear like noching/rattling sounds...the chin spoiler is beaten to hell....lol

didnt get a chance to test drive srt4, since they just got it and was getting detailed

go for either? or keep lookn?

as long as its not a skittle. but DAMN 18 k for a mach is an awesome price.

i drove it, drove well...but my friend knows alot more about cars than me and all he said was "LOL, i drove it and its beaten to hell, dont buy" then i was sad....

no wonder they want to get rid of it..

badfish : dont get me wrong, its BEAUTIFUL, under engine looks like new...everything inside is awesome...but rattling exhaust...chin spoliler looks like it hit a small dog....but i drove it and was just like :O and cheap...they said 22K, after i drove, they knocked it down "managers special'

Yea, I'd say keep looking for a better Mach 1. Those are my favorite 'Stangs outside of the Cobra SVT.

I didnt even mean to find it...just happened...lol was just lookn for a GT...not many mach1/bullits/cobras where i live...all 3 are rare...lol


so i guess no to the srt4? lol

lol cant believe some1 remembered that, about a month later, wrecked it...but its been about 3-4months since...im a different driver now



and the mach1, i didnt see anything wrong with engine...only thing i saw/heard was rattling of exchaust after rev, and that ****s loud stock....lol wut is the exhaust anyones? just ford or sumtin else?
and is 51k MILES HIGH for an 03?

how many miles are on the mach? Find someone that works at ford to run an OASIS report for you and it will give you a print out of everything any ford dealership in the US has done to the car.....then get a carfax.

The chin spoiler is an easy fix and you'll probably change the exhaust immediately anyway. You could always try to find a used 2005 GT??

well, i was gonna do SLP if it sounds good on a mach....and i could get a new chin cheap neways....

and i love the bucket feels of the seats...lol

but the rear end where it says mustang, has the inserts, the cheap sticker ones, and look like crap (anyway to take off?) and they said they'd take chin spoiler off for me...if i wanted


and its same color as yours, dont u love it? lol

and is this the stats on a mach? 305 hp @ 5800 RPM
320 lb-ft @ 4200 RPM 14.0 stock? or more?

o and its auto =X

Now your talking....we'll work on converting you to Magnapacks, but get the mach!!!! ha ha ha....to be honest, I passed on 3 machs before I bought mine. One of them have that beat up feeling, but felt strong when driving it....the 2nd one was just at the wrong time for me, and the 3rd was a white one with 9,000 miles on it, but it was through a private party....wanted to trade my other car in....so just be patient and wait for something your feel comfortable with.

Oh it's an auto.. ...I think auto's run around 13.6-13.7 stock and manuals can run a 1/4 13.1-13.2 with a good driver. Doesn't mean you couldn't make the auto fast, but manuals are the way to go.

Check out www.mach1registry.com and do a search on auto's.

Dont get a Mach you'll end up wrecking this mustang too. Right now you need a car that can take a beatung.I mean come on you practically just got that damn GT

NOO! Get the Mach 1. They are too hot if you know what you're doing. Go with jj and get the Magnapacks and you'll be roarin'. I'd still suggest finding another Mach though because if it feels beat up then there could be deeper problems then it seems. Search Mach 1's on eBay and put in your zip code and there might be a couple on there. Also, you can also look on autotrader for the same thing.

srt ftw!!!!!!!!!! woot woot!! I only say that because if you have the choice between a beat up mach or a nice srt then you can look around or pick one of the two. I would say srt!!!

Get the mach!! If you do, go ahead and get SLP. You'll love it. Everyone that hears it in person always tell me how much they love the sound.

well srt4 ended up being about 400 a month...ALITTLE outta my range...lol

so now im basically lookn for an 01+ GT/mach1 or a 98 cobra....lol

also kinda looking into trans am :x not a ws6 tho, they cost too much ...lol

its a zinc yellow 2000 GT convert with 33K miles...

sounds like they have a bad reputation...

theres a dealer round here that only deals w/ classic cars and high performance cars... the guys a crook

A bunch of overpriced wieners....I could buy that same GT stock for under 10k and buy the same mods for under $4000. I only know one person who bought one of their cars one month later blew the motor because it was improperly tuned. Ran real lean.
