Saleen

So today at school I see this Red mustang i do belive it was a 2003 -2004. i get closer and notice its a Saleen. But this is were it gets interesting, It was an automatic, does Saleen even make automatics? i didnt think they did. It could have been a regualr mustang with the saleen body kit. If it was then it sure did fool me

Saleen DID make a few auto's. For a sec i thought you were talking about a saleen s7 or something. I seen normal saleen stangs around here all the time

Can special order auto from Saleen. Same auto as the GT's.

Can you also get an auto with the Supercharged and Extreme versions????

If so, is it a built auto so it can with stand that power?

All the extreme versions have the supercharger. And their are a couple of auto extremes.

that doesnt answer my question. There's two supercharged Saleen's. S281supercharged and S281 Extreme. They are 2 different superchargers.

Does the automatic that comes with the Extremes and/or S281 supercharged.... is that the regular auto that comes with the base Saleen or is the auto built to with stand that power

They would have to build the tranny cuz the new saleens have like 500+ HP and the GT auto tranny only holds up to 450HP.

that;s what I figured but I wandered if they are Saleen built or bought from another company.

jobs going great......we will be building the very last ford gt ever made this week.....kind of nuts to think about.....but its ok...theres a new project in store for saleen that nobody will expect....

As far as i know it hasnt been announced so i cant say anything....and just so its known im quitting saleen...i want to go to college and i cant work their hours and do college at the same time......
