Who has the longest daily commute???

Is your stang your DD and if so how many miles a day do you commute to work????

Right now my mach is my DD and my daily commute is 48 miles round trip, but some times I take the train.

Mossberg 08-23-2006 04:29 PM

I probably hold the record for the longest short commute. 10 miles one way takes 40 minutes some days. ATL traffic.

MattJ 08-23-2006 04:29 PM

I commute about a mile to work. That includes to and from.
lol

Icefreezen 08-23-2006 04:31 PM

I drive to another station sometimes for work that takes a hour to drive

Badfish 08-23-2006 04:32 PM

10 miles each way

Yikes.....I'm going to kinda be in the same boat. My fiancee and I are real close to buying a house that is about 20 miles further out that we are right now and I'm really not wanting to drive my car that much because I probably couldn't afford the freaking gas it sucks up and I want to keep it in good shape for a long time. Guess I'll just have to suck it up until I can get a beater.

madmatt 08-23-2006 04:45 PM

30 miles round trip, takes about 30 min each way.

zigzaggthefag321 08-23-2006 04:47 PM

1.8-2.1 miles depending on the route taken.

mcmmotorsports 08-23-2006 04:49 PM

550-650 a day....but it is not in my Mustang. :salook:

Lances03SVT 08-23-2006 04:49 PM

Slither 08-23-2006 09:36 PM

about 50-60 miles round trip. 45 min in the morning, 25 on the way home because of traffic. Mustang is the DD and that is why I have 120k on it.

wnracing 08-23-2006 11:45 PM

Used to drive about 95mi a day. Now im down to about 15mi. The damage is already done though 1400,000+mi :flamed:

stanger00 08-24-2006 12:11 AM

i have a 15 mintue walk to the dining facility then a 15 minute walk to work. i hate walking.

FalloutGod 08-24-2006 12:12 AM

38 Miles round trip, average of 30 mins one way but I can cut that to 25-20 mins if I speed* and/or theres no traffic.

*10-15 over the speed limit

vodad 08-24-2006 03:35 AM

I dirve 180 miles round trip to work. That is why I do not drive the Mustang. I have a 2000 Grand Am for that.

I have driven the Stang a few times when it is nice out. but right now I need new tires before I drive it too far, and I do not feel like spending it right now when it is going to be parked in a couple of months for the winter and repairs.

Drive it there or come pick it up with a truck and trailer?

Rabbit 08-24-2006 06:24 AM

holy crap...you need to move closer or change jobs.

quality of life increases 100x when you dont have much of a commute.
