Need a little help from you "smart guys"
im not the brightest guy when it comes to workin on cars. its kind of like i know how to fly planes, but prolly couldnt find the oil filter, lol. but when i bought my car it already had a short shifter on it. but sometimes when i shift into 2nd it grinds the gear. im shifting at like 2500-3000 rpm's. whenever i go at wot i never grind it. and it dosent do it everytime, just like once or twice a week. and its only in second. i need some back up on this one guys, so throw some ideas at me.

Ive seen quite a few grind into second with aftermarket shifters. It seems to be a common problem with 3650. Mine did it with the steeda tri-ax as well. Mine did it at high rpms and quick shifting, but not in normal driving. Im thinking its a very early sign of syncro problems. If you have your bumps set, try backing it off, or removing it so it doesnt have them and see if that works out. It helped when I backed mine off a tad bit but I didnt try all the way. I didnt like the short throw so I went back to stock.

the stock shifter setup is designed to be quiet, easy, and smooth. With an aftermarket shifter, you are taking those away for performance, so any problems you had with the stock shifter would be amplified with the aftermarket one. I dont experience any of those problems listed in the bulliten so I dont see any problem with mine. If you take your car in with an aftermarket shifter, they will laugh at you because your aftermarket shifter could very well be the cause of the tranny problems.

Definitely a tell tail sign of a synchro about to go.
Take your boot off and put your car in 2nd. Check the clearence between the bolt and shifter and adjust accordingly. Might want to put some loctite on those bolts because the wiggled a bit after some driving and time.
