there is only one car show a year...thankfuly its only classics and hot rods...
they have a burnout contest on mainstreet....
but most the cars are poorly done...
there are quite a few ricers in town...but nothing is even faster than a v6 stang...lol
sometimes they hang out at sonic...

There are constantly all kinds of car shows around here.
Just to name a few places all within an hour of me:
Year One
Summitt Racing
Road Atlanta (FFW, Super Chevy Show, Grudge Racing/SHow)
Mustangs unlimited
AMS (Nopi, Friday night shows and drags)
Sonic (the drive in restaurant) has Saturday night Cruise in shows
And, about 7 or 8 little towns that have the Friday night cruise in shows
MPH (not really "shows" but they have dyno days, and track days)
Georgia is slap full of shows, the list above is only scratching the surface.

We've actually got a lot of both in Columbus. I remember a couple years ago when Hennessey (sp?) came out with their Venom Viper that had 1000HP in it. They had one of those there and I'm pretty sure I creamed in my pants when I saw it. We've also got a few hot-rod oldies that show up with there cars from the 50's and stuff, not a big fan of that early but I like some of the hot-rods from late 60's eary 70's.

umm, nothing that fancy, we actually have one this weekend, that i am entering into along with all my friends, and my autox club members, so it will be a fun day. Then sunday we have an autox race, so it will be a sweet weekend. The last show i went to was complete crap when it came to judging, for modified class, a '06~ Maxima(i think) SE-R or whatever they are called won and all it had was tinted windows, a CAI, and drop springs, which was complete BS when their was an amazing vette in the same catagory that had custome paint, a polished supercharger, and nitrous.
