a kid, he's not a dick, cool guy. his dad is loaded and he drives the viper to school every so often. well his dad bought him an '06 blue sti with gold rims. i talked to him, and i asked if he wanted a race..he didnt say anything he kinda just looked down, and changed the subject.

he's scared ...but the question is should he be? my car's pretty quick with the gears and dr's n what not. what do those new sti's run? my prediction is ill win, but by a nose. probably a drivers race..which i would win fo course cus i dont think that kid has ever raced

my s/c isnt goin on till winter unfortunatley, so thats not an option

 

what would you do if he accepted your race..your car has a messed up frame.

they are pretty damn fast stock. most run mid to low 13's stock from what i see at my local track.

 

Assuming people can drive, aren't the new STI's a mid to low 13 second car? I don't really know what they run stock, but I always thought they were neck and neck with stock mach 1's??

 

He would probably get you off the line but theres no replacement for displacement. Youre torque will make you pass him at 50mph I bet

STi's are NOT slow. Yes, the regular WRX's are, but the STi has I think 300 hp? I say he takes you if he doesnt launch like a bitch. Its going to be a close race if he knows how to drive.

you guys are so underestimating the speed of my car at sealevel my car is a mid to low 13 second car..

i know they're quick but i have way more torque with the 4.10s, sometimes it feels supercharged cus i can chirp 2nd and third WITH THE DR's.

i dont know, hopefully he'll race me, im really curious of the outcome.


btw to whoever said it (to lazy to scroll up) i took the n20 off. also im getting my car fixed this week, my awesome mom is loaning me the money to fix it...with 15% intrest

im looking into early jeep wranglers for winter for me like 93 can get em for like 2 grand with like 120k miles and 4 wheel drive

 

yj's are sweet (wranglers with square headlights) you can do a coil over suspension left and instantly get 7 inches of lift, its ****. watch out for axle wrap tho
