Default Way to ruin my day

Was driving to one of our parks today, when I was getting on the interstate and decided to give it a little gas to get on. Well, changed gears, RPM went up, car didnt go like it should, RPM slowly fell and started gaining speed. Boo crappy clutch. No hooray. Go to get off the interstate, push pedal, and its like 3 inches higher than normal. Clutch is fuxored. OH well, already have the King Cobra, can get the flywheel resurfaced at Napa, and I get to do it tomorrow. Me and my boss are going to change it tomorrow morning. The strange thing is, this morning, its back to normal, but Im sick of dealing with it and worrying if I can get home when Im 150 miles away.

Yea, KC is cheap, and I didnt know about Specs reputation of chattering like a ****, but I heard you fixed that by not using their TOB. Oh well, its here now, and Im using it. Heard it was a great clutch.

By the way, Zig, what did you use to align the clutch. Ford doesnt include an alignment tool in their kit...

autozone has them i also have a spare. if you want it i can ship it to ya. Shouldnt cost more then 5 bucks at the most.

actuly i could just toss it in an envalope and that means maybe 35 cents to ship right? it would fit in one for sure its not that large.

Oh and replace the pilot and TB while your in there. Its a must do and only costs
$45 extra to do. YOu can get them cheaper then the dealer at www.fordpartsonline.com its about the cost of the TB only getting it from the website then going threw ford.

Yea, we are doing the Pilot and the throwout bearing comes with the kit. Definately doing these. We checked autozone and they have the damn thing in the computer, but dont sell it. I appreciate your offer to send it, but its gotta be done tomorrow Thanks a lot man. Im trying to get one from someone local, I know some people. And my car has 92k miles on it.
