Any bajo from an 03+ mustang will work. The cobra and 03+ stangs use the same bolts, course threaded. Go to your local auto store, get two lines and remove the bajos. I had to do this do to the fact that I have an 04gt and put on Bullittttt brakes, they take fine threaded. I still have my course threaded if you want.

LOL... wait a sec.... so he doesent need the banjo's they are sending with the Cobra brakes.....

but i will with the bullitt brakes on my 04?

lol...

drove me nuts when I got everything and couldn't install due to the bajo. I called Ford and they couldn't help. Called a friend, who works for Ford, and he told me that mid 02 ford changed all the banjos to the course threaded type so as not to have two diff ones in the Mustangs. Went and got some stock lines for an 99+ mustang and everything went right together.

Yes you will need a diff banjo IF you don't get the right lines with your kit. I didn;t buy in a kit. I got the calps/pads sep from the rotors and ss lines. If you buy all together they SOULD give you the right stuff.

Oh for cryin out loud.

So, ziggster here gets the 10th ann Cobra Brakes, and the site says you need the goddamnbanjobolts, and he goes through all of this and it turns out his stock banjo's are just fine.

I on the other hand, get the Mach1/Bullit brake conversion kit, which yer NOT supposed to have the goddamnbanjobolts, however, since it is an 04, IM the one who will need the goddamnbanjiobolts and not zigster?

Well... guess i had that coming for finding ziggys goddamnbanjobolt drama so entertaining.

lol

dfroster 08-11-2006 04:51 PM

THe 10th an cobra brakes use the course banjo, all others use fine banjo. 99-02 mustangs have fine bajos from the start, 03-04have course. Hope that clears that up.

What year is ziggers car? If it's an 03 or 04 he can put them on right now, if not he needs to wait for the banjo or get one off an 03-04.

MattJ 08-11-2006 04:54 PM

His is an 01.

Mine came with banjo bolts and I was told to remove some of the washers to make it fit right. They fit with them on so I left em.

dfroster 08-11-2006 04:57 PM

Also, Summit has then in stock for $10.00.

Ziggy - If summit has then you can head down to Mcdonough at their new store and get them; less then an hour drive from MPH as I just went down there last weekend. Very nice store by the way; big as **** as well.

well, really my window of install time has passed. I would have done them any day this week had MT given me the correct parts from the get go. Tomorrow I'll be at MPH for quite a while...dunno how long. My lift and good tool set are at work...and we are closed Sundays. I am gonna have to wait for a weekday again...with parts...to do the install. I stil gotta get some brake fluid for the brake flush...well now I have time to do that...thanks MT!! lol. hopefully by then Ill have the BB's.

I'll have to get a 17inch spare rim now...315's cant go in front, doughnut spare wont clear the Cobra brakes. Whats your spare look like...maybe Ill get one of those....:wallbash: ...I overlooked this scenario.

Lol...

I work 2:30pm to 10:30pm. i try to get up by 9, but i find it damn near impossible to go home after work and just go to bed. So i usually find myself unwinding at the local watering hole.

because I stay up late as hell..so I have already used that time you feel like you lose. We both get the time...I use in the night before...you use it the morning after. Its not like I ever sleep for more than 6-8 hours at a time.

dfroster 08-12-2006 06:24 AM

Get a spare from a Cobra. Late mod resto has them also.
