Well, got my Cobra brakes today. BUT...no banjo bolts like they said would come with the kit!!!!!! I cant install them without this. I called and they said they would call me back tomorrow. First they said I'd have to send the entire order back and they would ship me out a whole new kit because they dont sell JUST the banjo bolts. Then they said that I got the last Cobra brake kit in stock. FVCK!!! So I guess either they will try to get me some banjo bolts by themselves or I will have to buy them myself from a Stealership...IF any of them carry this item.
Also bought Steeda SS brake lines and opened the box and they ARE NOT Steeda SS lines, they are Russel brand lines. I hope these brake lines are as good as the Steeda's. I feel kinda ripped off in a way. :censored: :censored: :censored: :censored:

those brake lines sure dont look right to me. I just tried to put a set on my 03 cobra 10th and it uses different banjo bolts than the other 03-04 and 99-01 calipers. My lines looked nothing like that; they should be packaged to reflect the year of car or year range you order for. Oh I highly doubt you are going to find the banjo bolts you need at your local parts store, unless you are referring to a large ford dealership parts department.

yup I'd feel better if the box said for 03-04 Cobra or whatever.
Yeah I wouldn't think a hardware store is ever gonna have or be able or willing to get them.

MattJ has the same Calipers as I have gotten(as do you) and he says his hoses looked just like the pics I posted. I'll just have to see if they will fit.

So, I called MT a minute ago (they didnt call me back like they said) anyway...they are sending me out the banjo bolts today.
I asked them about the brake lines they sold me and they told me to call Russell...the maker of the lines, and also if I tried to install them they would not take them back if they dont fit. :censored:
Here's my thing....MT sold them to me...so MT should be able to tell me if they will work on the 03 Cobra calipers. I think its lame for them to tell me to call Russell to find out this info. MT claims they are THE aftermarket Mustang Authority...hmmm....yeah?...hmmm. :censored:
