Non-mustang forums?
Do any of you guys belong to any non-mustang forums? If so which ones? Just curious cause I almost just joined the 350z motoring forums because of threads like this. http://www.350zmotoring.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=10933
You should have seen the thread about stock 350z's being faster than stock mach's in the 1/4 mile.....they were convinced mach's run low 14's and high 13's.

350z story:
This is how that story, REALLY went:
I was tail gating a 2004 cobra while cruisin' in my mom's 350z tonight..... till we got to a red light ....I thought what the hell ...I'm gonna turn on my blue pulsing neon lights....so I turn off the Overdrive on my auto but I'm not sure if he is gonna go for it so when the light turns green I jumped on the pedal and got a carlength infront of him since he wasn't moving.. but ended up neck and neck with him as his V8 owned the crap out of my POS....just as my auto trans approaches the 1-2 shift he starts to fly away like I was standing still then the car shifts and I can't even feel the torque as I near 4 car lengths behind.....as the trans hits 3rd I'm about 8 car lengths behind.....then he starts to press his brakes to slow down..... the trans hits 4th and I slowly pass him as he slows to a stop....He was at single digit speed as I passed him and not much road left before the next light....he pulls up at the light and I roll down my window and say "NICE CRUSTANG" but he doesnt roll his down so we proceed down the road ........when I get down the road he's at the on ramp for I-75 .the light for the ramp turns green...I stayed right on his tail as he was driving the speed limit....then we approach the I-75-I-16 split ....I get off at the next exit and lo and behold there he is ....he rolls down his window and says "Is that your mom in the passenger seat?" I say "Yeah I don't have my license so I need an adult with me to drive" ...he starts lauging uncontrollably....I was real tempted to say "Man I almost got close enough to read your license plate!"

I had a 2004 cobra stalk me while cruisin' tonight..... till we got to a red light ....I thought what the hell ...I'm gonna get my *** handed to me....so I turn off the VDC but I'm not sure if he is gonna go for it so when the light turns green I watched for him to make the first move so I get a split second late start but ended up neck and neck with him....just as I approach my 1-2 shift he starts to walk away then I shift and the tires bark then I'm 1/2 car length ahead.....as I hit 3rd I'm about 3/4 car lengths ahead.....then he starts to pass and then walk away.....I shift into 4th and start to pass him and walk right past him then I let off the gas....we were at triple digit speed ( I plead the 5th amendment ) and not much road left before the next light....he pulls up at the light and I roll down my window but he doesnt roll his down so we proceed down the road ....I get stopped at a light and he keeps going....when I get down the road he's at the on ramp for I-75 .the light for the ramp turns green...I stayed right on his tail as he tried to pull away from me....then we approach the I-75-I-16 split and I slow down ( there have been way to many accidents there.....I get off at the next exit and lo and behold there he is ....he rolls down his window and says "is that thing stock" I say intake and exhaust work" ...he starts to tell me how his buddy just loves those things ( Z's).....I was real tempted to say " did you think you were gonna smoke me?"

ha ha ha ha.....exactly dude. that's funny. I don't mind so much the retarded stories, but they don't even bother to do any research on on other cars before blurting out a bunch of crap and next thing you know there is so much mis-information it's crazy. Oh well, it's pretty funny.

In one of them a turbo honda civic hatch beat (Barely) an ALL stock 99-04 mustang V6..but then in the comments the ricer types are like "Ya see ur dumbestic v8s arent even fast you got owned by a 4 banger face it", but didn't realise that the rear bumper didn't have any exhaust cutouts making it a V6
