Default Motorcyclists do it. Do you?

So, I've had my GT for just slightly over a year now. About 2 months after buying it, I was on a road trip from New Jersey to back home in Virginia. On one of the main roads I take while still in Jersey (by "main" I mean I spend alot of time on that road. It's not really a "main" road in the sense that it's only one lane each way) coming the other way was an older GT, that just by looking at it, you could tell that it had had some nice work done to it. Anyways, as we approach each other, the other driver smiled and then raised his hand and politely waved at me. Being caught off guard, I quickly waved back, not that I'm sure if he saw it. A little bit later, I came across another GT. This time I initiated the wave. The other person waved back and kind of grinned at me.

A couple weeks later, in Virginia, again another GT and I crossed paths. I waved at him and kind of nodded. He not only didn't wave back, he looked at me like I was holding a Keebler Elf by the ***** while singing "Devil With The Red Dress On" at the same time as I was pulling roses out of my ears. In other words, he looked at me kind of weird like. Over the past 12-13 months, whether I initiate or not, I've waved at every GT driver I've seen. I'd say about 40% of them have waved back, like it was a normal every day thing. About another 10% wave back, but in a manner that reminds me of a Chinese woman who doesn't know English, talking to some irate person going off on her in a typical American slang... they just smile and nod alot, until we pass each other.

However, if I am unsure the driver caught my wave, I will give a friendly rev!

I do it... only if the person driving the car looks like they bought the car to buy a Mustang... you know what I mean... you can tell when a person buys a mustang because they treasure the car... that where other people see it as a means to get from point A-B.... Driving their Mustangs is the Point (forgot where I had heard that, but it actually applies here). But I am kinda lucky, we have a group of mustang owners around here called 'StangBangerz' and you can kinda tell when one of them is around... you get a nice REV!!!!

Gotta love the Stang...

I dont say wave or anything unless they have done something to their car on a respectable level. I pulled up to a guy in a vert gt one time in dusk and said nice car and smiled. He said thanks and i asked if anything was done to his and he said no. He asked me and i said yeah all the bolt ons. he essentially thought i was rediculous because its not supercharged and he tried showing off his stock exhaust at me. I bit back rapped mine to redline and his jaw dropped. He tried getting a peice but i was almost a car ahead at the end of first gear. Needless to say i flipped the bird to the guy for me being nice and him being a dick. He got his stock gt an asswhoopin and i added a smack to the face with the bird.

haha he wasnt too happy it looked like.

I hardly look at the mustangs passing me as they pass me or I pass them..but today as I was leaving Albertsons I saw a riced out GT and almost cried at the sight of it.. I took a pic of it with my cam phone but accidently closed the flip top so it didn't save :censored: :censored: :censored:

It was sad, and had a dumb blonde on her cellphone driving it as well.
I didn't reall catch a good look at it, but by a glance I could see:
- aluminum airplane wing
- altezza's
- white wheels
- one of those stupid horse vinyls on the rear window (Why do all the riced out mustangs have that?)
- a WTF body kit on it

And the car was black and I believe it was an SN95.. damn I wish I had that picture

A friend of mine who drives a V6 Camaro is one of those "Rich" kids. He just gets things he doesnt deserve, hes a great guy and all. He said that he might be getting a 96 Cobra with 40K on it from his moms friend; and he's only 16 i think maybe 17.

i do, depending on how modded the mustang is, but to classics i do regardless on how it looks, cause its a classic. Then i do it on the motorcycle and have to stop myself from doing it towards mustangs.

If the car has something done to it I will do the raise the hand on the steering wheel thing or if my arm is out the window I will do the motorcycle wave. There are so many Stangs that it is useless to wave at all of them. I don't wave at any of the new bodys. It is always snobs around here that drive them thinking they are hot **** so I don't waste the hand energy. Very few sn95s..actually just one around town that is comp orange with black wheels...PColaV6 have you ever seen it?

Anyway I leave my waves to the New Edge with mods.

I've seen a 99-04 Comp Orange cobra, wasn't an SN95 though, also a yellow terminator on 9th ave. within 30 seconds... But yeah, SN95s are very rare around here, but almost everyone and his grandmother has a 99+ v6. Don't see many GT's or cobras

Nuh uh!
lol

If you think about it..sn95 cobras aren't much to the 03-04 cobras, stock anyway.
What would you rather see a 16 year old rich kid destroy/rice out, an SN95 Cobra or a Terminator? Mmhmm

must have been something wrong with his car or your car has work done... also, just because a car feels faster doesnt always mean it is faster. not dissing your car at all, just stating that yours came with 260 stock, the cobra came with 305 stock like madmatt said.

i usually go up to terminator owners and introduce myself and ask what theyre mods are. i met a guy with a screaming yellow 03/04 cobra at a gas station. i asked his mods cus i wanted a race (i had n2O) but he had over 550 horsies...no race for me

if i ever wave at other stang owners its usually because i wave first, i hardly ever get waved at classic stang owners wave more than newer ones

They probably aren't liking the yellow. Don't see too many classic mustangs in yellow.
