just installed my new Borla stingers with SLP O/r X and it sounds amazing deep throaty rumble and sound and it roars when i get on it i love it the sound i have been looking for im gonna get an exhaust vid up tomorrow!! the Borla install was a piece of cake very good quality and good directions!

I've considered getting the stingers sice I got my borla catback and it's not very loud...but ahh I can never decide...

 

ive heard borla catback in person and its nothin compared to the stingers hence why i went with the stingers.

to be honest I am not sure; I did not win one of the top 3 prizes. The magnaflow catted x pipe and magnaflow CB won the overall score. We have 5judges so it was based on their results. I will say this however my stinger setup on my 03 compared to my full magnaflow setup on my 01 cobra vert gets far more compliments than did my maggie setup. And I mean ALOT MORE; I have people pulling up beside me on GA400 here in Atlanta with their cell phones hanging out of their windows asking me to rev it for their friends to hear while they are talking. These people are not teenages asking either just fellow older car people like me. The stinger CB is just amazing at the sound it emits

you mean from a decibel standpoint? Maybe not sure though; I know they are loud however.

Would be interesting to hear them both with an O/R pipe to see which set is louder.

 

Thanks man....1st was worthless as there was no traction and I had to feather 2nd gear around the turn as to not get sideways spinning and you could finally hear me put my foot in it when I hit 3rd gear.

 

No way, I had just stingers on my old 04 and packs with Catted X on my 98 and the 98 is just barely louder and it has an aftermarket mid pipe. Stingers are LOUD.
