OK I want know if I can get a paypal accout using a checking account. Someone told me I could do this but I want to be shure. I also want to know if it needs to be a checking account with a debit card or if it doesn't matter. Yes you can have a paypal hooked directly to your checking account. You just have to have the number off your checks.

I think after so many transactions, or when you go to accept a credit card payment from someone, you HAVE to be a premier account. I cant remember how that works, but paypal starts taking out a 4 percent fee or something like that. I have mine hooked right to my checking account and it works fine.

Paypal has up to 1000 dollar protection and are pretty good about it.

Paypal will charge you if you open a dispute and want a refund so you will not get all ur money back unless the seller agrees to the refund. Best thing to do is use credit when you are buying as you can dispute your charge through your credit card company and not be charged. I have had to do this twice. If the seller cannot prove he shipped it to you then you will get all your money back. Make sure to call your credit card and ask what kind of protection they have against this.
