Default Uh Oh......

Guess what? I am unemployed. My boss was nice enough to call me at 11:30 this morning to tell me that he had to let me go. Oh well, I would like to say it was good while it lasted but it wasn't.
I am not upset, just a little surprised because it was done over the phone.

Well, I guess that about tops the cake on that job ey Mike? What a douche to do something like that over the phone. Back to the trucks now? Or do you have some lines elsewhere?

that was chicken **** to call you on the phone and do that. Makes me think of the commercial where his boss calls him and lays him off as well then the guy asks where he is calling from and his boss says the big conference. His boss is standing at the podium and the guy comes from the right hand side of the screen and just lays him out

Nothing to be sorry about, I am not sad nor bitter. Things happen for a reason and this happened for a good reason.

untrue, there has to be a legitimate reason why one is being fired. and if he doesnt like the way you combed your hair that morning... well thats not a legit excuse to have you fired.

True, but he could always say it was due to poor job performance even if it was my hair that disturbed him.

Thats like on the movie "Fridays" when Ice Cube got fired on his day off. Something better comes your way.
