I just thought you all would be shocked by this. I forgot what forum i was at but i was reading where a guy had a foxbody 5.0 and his engine was blown, and he was wondering if he got a 1.8L V-Tec if he could run it. His comment was, Honda's engines are more powerful than the one i had. I am gonna start searching to see if i can find that site again. When i read that, i was shocked, but then i just started cracking up by his statement.

 

That is one dazed and confused individual.

 

Any engine will work in any car. The question is are you willing to put up the amount of cash that an odd ball swap takes to complete. Fabricating adapters that have never been made before is expensive.

In the long run even with a 5.0's worse gas mileage he would probably come out ahead just putting a new 5.0 in.
