Yeah I just caught a few minutes of that. What was the tuner they were using? I turned it on just in time to see him flip through some options and toss it in the car.

 

Ha, I thought about most people being at work when I posted this. I guess you'll have to catch later. They had an 03 Cobra, With a pulley swap, and a live rear axle. They put a shifter and a catback in it, everthing else stock. Then they ran it on a mustang dyno, and got like 366rwhp and 370 something tq. Then they used a tuner leaned it out and maid over 400rwhp and tq.

 

I'm not sure, I was running in and out of my room so I missed the name.

Edit: There doing an encour or the ep., The tuner was an Anderson Ford Motorsports Tuner.

 

BOOO @ mustangdyno 366whp after pulley/exhaust etc? wow . . . i thought they dynoed at more then that stock . .

 

that shop isnt know for making power who knows what they ****ed up. for all we know they dynoed it in 5th.

Sounds like a place who is employed by a bunch of morons.

 

Those are the same 2 guys that used to host "Shade Tree Mechanic" WAY back in the day. I'm surprised to see them anywhere near a car with an ECU in it. By no means are they what i would consider 'tuners'. Give them a carb and a screwedriver and they got it covered though.
