yah... just wondering who has beat z06s (new ones)

the only way I can beat a new c6 z06 would land me in jail for vandalism.

 

Ive driven em, actually 3. They are pretty nasty so any mustang is gonna have to have some serious mods.

 

Not run one of the new 06's but have had no problem with any of the others at the track. At my home track , Beech Bend Raceway, Bowling Green Ky, they have a Z06 Fest every year and a few of them decide to stay around for the Test and Tune session so I've had ran several of em and so far I'm undefeated:banana:

I ran 2 C5 Zs, both from rolls. 1st one was stock w/ 100shot but he didnt spray it. I was door to door. This was awhile back so I may fare better now.

2nd one had headers and it was pretty much the same deal. I maybe pulled a fender.

 

my car has no chance against my dads so you would need a very heavily modded car to beat it. its an 03. I have driven it once and ridden in it a few times, and let me tell yopu these things are fvcking fast. He stopped at a stop sign and left it in third and we were sideways and chit for a good hundred yards. My car cant even pull hard starting in third. it scares the **** out of me when at wot, cant imagine it at 180.

 

Nope, never raced one because I got spanked so bady by a modded (at least exhaust) C5 Z06 that I won't even try a C6 z06.....My car pulls crazy hard in 3rd gear and the z06 left me like nothing....that's never happend until the z06....well, there was that one camaro, but that's a different story.

 

I havent run one but watched a stock one(supposed to be anyway) run 11.9s
at GIR with moderate atmospheric conditions. Only vette Ive ever run was 96, and beat em by 6 tenths. Don't remember if it was a LT1 or LT4.

 

I'm assuming you sprayed?

 

I raced an 02 a few years back...lets just say...he wasn't too happy with the outcome...

 

I want one so bad. There is a video on SVTP of the speedo as it climbs. Its insane.
