Default Superman..yes sir!

Ok so if you haven't seen it, GO. If you didn't plan on seeing it, DO.

Just got back from seeing it and..according to me..best movie I have seen in a long time. The effects that they have added to him are awesome..the little sounds of his cape..everything..damn. I really enjoyed this movie and am really looking forward to the new ones to come. They really did well and recaptured a lot of Superman fans with this I'm sure. It even has a nice surprise in it, that shocked me. I never read the comics so maybe it was in there which means some of you might know..but I didn't. It is 2 1/2 hrs. long, but I sat in my seat the whole time not moving just focused on it. Even the music..Ok I will stop now. On another note..it had previews for Spiderman 3..one word..VENOM! It is gonna be amazing..

I agree with u about the ending, but I think it was necessary to set the foundation for future movies. Superman Returns is an re-introduction movie, so it has to be a bit longer for future movies.

Oh I forgot...of course they had to smash up a damn Mustang in the movie. The main smashing scene was 100% involved with a 65 body Stang.

i heard it was horrible.

a co-worker went to see it, he loves superman, reads comics etc.

He said it was just BAD.

Aparently something about supermanpicking up an entire Island and hurling it into space? and the island was made of cryptonite? :dots:

I'm for sure going to see it.....hopefully in IMAX, but I'm really waiting for Pirates of the Caribbean....Miami Vice with Jamie Foxx and Collin Farrell is going to be good also.

Yeah way to go spoiling parts of the movie for people dumbass. Why don't you go see it before you comment on parts of the movie so you don't :censored: it up for others.

an island made of cryptonite? :dots:

In previous scenes he was crippled at a small rock of the stuff being next to him, then he all of a sudden picks up an island half the size of manhatton that is made of cryptonite?

Dude just go see the movie so you know what you are talking about. I won't say anything else about it so I don't ruin anything for anyone considering this is one of the bigger parts of the movie.

I am gonna go watch the X-Men documentary now since that is more realistic.

I thought the movie was great, I thought it might be a let down to me considering I grew up watching the old one's, but it was'nt. And Spiderman 3 looks like it's going to be the best one yet just because the alien that makes venom is in it.

**********SPOILER alert*************
Do not scroll down unless you are prepared to have some of the movie ruined.

Actually in the comics he can move entire planets, plus the Sun recharges his body. The island wasnt entirely made of Kryptonite it was mostly rock with krytonite in it. If you remember the kryptonite only started showing up after a lot of the rock had fallen off. In KINGDOM COME he has become invulnerable to kryptonite as his immune system has gotten used to it, maybe that's part of what we witnessed in the movie.

Also it's a damn comic book, get over it, a little bit of it is going to be hard to believe unless you just go with it.
