Got 3 tickets today
So i was driving to work today and got 3 tickets all at once. A cop in a motorcycle hiding behind a wall clocked me going 60 on a 35 and not wearing my seatbelt. My license is expired so when he asked me for my license I told him I had my wallet stolen a couple of days ago and my license was in there. He then gave me another ticket for not having my license. My plan is to get my license renewed before I have to go to court to show my license. Oh well hope everything works out.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in Oregon the cop cannot be hiding behind somthing, the driver has to be able to see him before he clocks, not see him with enough time to slow down but still see him. Also, you have like 45 days to prove that you have a valid license or somthing along those lines, but your license was expired so i think your SOL there. I dont know how it is where you live but thats how I think it is here. Again, correct me if I'm wrong cause I dont want to get pulled over and use either of those defenses in court and look like a dumbass.
Hopefully you dont get hit to hard after the court date, good luck.

I was driving a red corvette c5, Im going to go renew my license, i have just been lazy and havn't gone to renew it, it expired in march. See the thing is he didn't know i had an expired license, i just him "I dont have it on me". SO hopefully i can just show up to court and show them my license and they drop that. As far as the speeding im getting a Ticket Attorney and im going to see what they can do with the seat belt thing.

The 'police' units that patrol the bridge from gulf breeze to Pcola beach over here have black tahoes (unmarked)....they get everyone at night.
