Not to hate on YOU particularly, but IMO opinion, the look of a car is just as important as the speed... any one can buy a cheap 1980 import throw in a turbo and make it quick, a friend of mine has a 300 hp integra and spent like 5 grand on the entire project... but it also looks like ****. Mike, i know UR not worrying about looks, but i'm talkin about the broad spectrum of cars in general.
I guess all i'm sayin is a quick Honda will never do it for me...and clarify this if i'm wrong, but your doing this project because the wear on your GT is guna be greater then the cost of this new honda project?
good luck with everything, but i'm sry thats just not appealing to me...

(and u can open up to off roading events and what not...)

This car is going to cost next to nothing to build, cost next to nothing to race and give me the track time I so desperately crave. Guys, this is not an import-domestic thing, it is not even a rice-no rice thing, it is a racing thing and if you have never done it (legally on a track and no not drag racing) you would never understand.

Also, finding a car to fit in a class like this is hard, because there arent just Honda or Nissan classes, they are all grouped together, and the support for the honda is much great and cheaper than the 240sx is. 700 dollars race ready, you cant beat that with a stick.

But it is a HONDA.
But it is a HONDA.
There is a Honda Challenge Series, not a Nissan Challenge Series.
There is a Spec Miata Series, not a Spec Toyota Series.
Yes, you can race anything as long as it meets the safety specs. They will FIND a class to run you in.
Look, I found a cheap car to race, it wouldn't matter to me if it was a Lawn Tractor or a Bar Stool Racer, as a race car driver, you learn to never turn down ANY opportunity to drive competitively, but then again, how many race car drivers do we have posting in this thread?
